Back in the days, getting stuff online is a big No for me, when it come to money and purchasing stuff without seeing the sellers and the goods before making payment do fear me a lot, no matter how they use to say use this online platform to get this or that, I will just smile and reply "I will find anything I want in the market", even though it isn't easy because of the stress of hoping from one shop to another just to get the exact product you are looking for. One thing that scare me the most was loosing my money by paying online and not getting the product. I started using Jumia as my first online platform to get stuff from, I was just shaking after making payment and had to wait for my product but they actually delivered and I kept on using it since then, Jiji came, aliexpress and now Temu which is now the worst platform on my record.
Using Jumia is cool but somehow I think their price is really high compare to other platform and at times it doesn't sit well with me, it do scream rip off and there is no way you can bargain the price, you have to buy whatever you want at their listing price, I remember trying to get a mobile phone, the price was higher on jumia like 15k higher but somehow I had to look for a phone slot and they have the exact phone at lower price. The funniest one was when I needed Dental flux, I just check jumia that night and saw it at 2k, I was like so this thing is cheap, but something asked me to calm down first, I went out that night to get food and drop in a mini provision shop, and I ask if they have dental flux after using hand to describe what I want, the guy brought it out and told me it is 400 naira, I laugh within me, "Oh this is so cheap, Jumia want to scam me), I brought 2 immediately.
Another thing I don't like is their delivery people, they will either stress you before delivering the goods, or caught you emotionally when it come to extra tips, you will pay for delivery fee which is among the payment fee and you will need to tip them after they cook story for you and if you don't tip, they will mark your location for you and start doing the way they like. Apart from Jumia or shopping site, I stop patronizing online vendors especially when it come to far away vendors, their service are somehow not good. I once order a safepal wallet from a crypto Og that I once know but he stay far away but do advertise every in crypto groups, so I paid for one of the ledger wallet and he sent it through Gig logistics but they do me bad, they broke my ledger wallet and it is touchscreen, the screen got damage and the stuff didn't on at all, I complained and they said maybe the sender sent a faulty device, I complain to the sender and he said I go go back to them that they destroy the stuff by packing heavy load on it, at some point I was really angry because both were just playing me like tennis ball to the point that I got tired and just forgot the whole stuff and lost 45$ that time and just left the stuff with gig to eat it.
Online shopping is good and stress free but if issue start or they send you what your order versus what you get, that is where the major issue is.

There's no way ever that either the seller or delivery people would agree that the broken screen was from them. It's bad service that tells on both of them.
it really pain me to be honest but who will i hold responsible since both deny it, I just dropped it and left
