New year new year. There has been a lot of fuss about what the new year brings and what new opportunities it can present to people. This year there hasn’t been a lot of noise about new year resolutions; at least from where I stand.

When we were entering 2024 last two years, a lot of people spoke about their new year resolutions and the things they’ll like to change in their lives for the new year. The funny part about all of this is that we tend to forget that a new year is just like any other year and if we don’t make the conscious effort to be better everyday then we’ll always use the new year new me anthem.

I am not much of an organised person when it comes to stuff. I won’t lie, I don’t care about how clean my gadgets look. That is one thing that I have always struggled to maintain. I only change my screen protector when I am going for a new phone case. This should give you an idea about how I treat my devices. For me, I like my things functioning or readily available when I want to use them and as far as I have that I think it’ll never be such a big deal to me.

Home Screens are things that I’ve never paid attention to. There was this time that I decided to use all black for both my wallpaper and then my home screen. Why? This was because I use my devices in rooms with low light and as a result having a bright screen will stress my eyes out.

One other reason is that I simply don’t care and as long as I have a dark screen I’ll always maintain that energy.

My laptop on the side has a similar look and feel. I’ve not taken out time to choose my wallpaper on my laptop, I’ve left the windows one for the most part of it. For me, a dark screen will always work for me.

I don’t have a particular order in which I arrange my apps as well. As long as they are there and I can locate them I leave them scattered.
