USSD codes like *737# and *894# became wgat everyone had to know offhead, incase you don't have data or probably using a phone that cannot access the internet you opt got Used codes as they provide access to banking services.this widespread adoption demonstrated Nigerians' ability to adapt to challenging circumstances and leverage on technology.

Though there were its benefits too, reducing physical contact and risk of virus transmission, improved transaction security.

Technology played a vital role work and virtual meetings as zoom and Google Meet became the norm. E-learning platforms and online courses allowed students to continue learning.

The no-cash era has accelerated us into a cashless economy.Increased adoption of digital payment solutions has improved us a citizen and allowed us to exploit and adopt more tech related innovations as they are being anf would be of help in case of any future occurrence which might not even be finance related....who knows.

The no-cash era has taught us that technology can bridge a lot of gaps, one of it is the financial gaps.
Even though at that time,I was in school,to call home to send me money,it was not so easy,as then not everyone also want you to send them transfers and all,if you were to see a place where you could transfer and collect cash, you would have to pay a huge amount of money, imagine using 300naira to collect 1000naira,you are only left with 700naira.

So its just better to go buy something at a place where you will just transfer the total amount of money of the goods bought to them straight,or just pay with your card(ATM) using their POS even small shops owner began to collect transfers, everyone now have online banking apps,to send and receive money, though as Nigerians we've learned to adapt, innovate, and thrive in the face of adversity it was indeed a challenging time then, but we appreciate technology, if not for that...it would have been worse.

The Internet was truly of great help during the no cash era else we won't have survived that heavy storm. Indeed technology has helped a lot.
