Air Conditioner Fan

Greetings!

I haven’t had the opportunity to travel much, which gives me fewer chances to see mind-blowing home gadgets. The only place I see and admire most of these gadgets is in movies. And hey, anytime I’m watching techy movies, I always pay attention to those builds and gadgets in homes. Oftentimes, I conclude that most of them are not in existence due to how sophisticated they are, which, to some extent, is true. However, I’ve seen wonders—especially when a home’s interiors can change in the blink of an eye, just with the click of a button.

On this topic, I’m not going too far. What I want right in my home is an air conditioner fan. It sounds simple, right?

Let me tell you, I didn’t know about this fan until four years ago, and I discovered it at my former workplace. In the building, we had air conditioners installed on the walls, in different sizes, and we used to enjoy the coolness they provided. But that was until our big generator developed a fault, and we stopped using most of them. We only used two in the hall for a while, but eventually, we stopped completely because they were not just overloading the generator but also consuming a lot of fuel.

Then one day, the CEO of the company came in with a big carton containing fan parts. Yeah, I saw the drawings on the carton, but I didn’t take it seriously because we already had two industrial standing fans in the hall and ceiling fans as well.

I was mostly in charge of things whenever the manager wasn’t around. One day, I was instructed to open the room where the carton was stored so an electrician could assemble the fan. That’s when I realized it wasn’t just any fan—it was a different type of fan, an air conditioner fan. The first electrician couldn’t assemble it; he stopped halfway. The next electrician managed to assemble it, but the air conditioner effect wasn’t working, so he left it for someone else to fix. When the last electrician completed it, I felt the fan and—hey!—it was just like an air conditioner. It made no noise, the breeze was accompanied by a cool cooling effect similar to that of an air conditioner, and it circulated very well. Plus, it consumed far less power compared to the wall-mounted air conditioners that were straining our big generator.

Ever since then, I’ve liked and fancied the idea of having such a fan in my house. But the price is hefty, too, because I asked about it, and it costs almost 1 million naira.

I know this fan is common in many homes already and isn’t rated as one of those high-end smart gadgets. Still, I like how it’s able to replace an air conditioner with ease, serve two functions at the same time, and be cost-effective compared to the traditional air conditioners installed on walls.

Thanks for reading.

This is my entry to Digi-prompts of the week.

I have also seen such fans in some homes. There one that needs a coolant in the form of water so that it can keep blowing cool. The.Fan is nice to have at home.

Yeahhh. You know it very well.
It has a water storage space that it picks water to breeze out in a cold manner.

That sounds like a very effective and efficient gadget. Does the job and consumes less energy? Definitely worth the hype.

Yeah.
Mobile,
Works as ordinary fan
And also with AC effect with less power consumption compared to the AC we know.
Thank you
