I’ve been using my Samsung Galaxy A13 for over two years now, and I’m honestly starting to get tired of it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been reliable, and I’ve never had to take it to the shop for any major issues. But the screen is a little damaged, and I’m constantly running out of storage. It’s gotten to the point where I have to download random apps or movies just to free up some space for the important stuff. It’s a bit annoying, and I just want something more convenient at this point.
As much as I’ve stuck with this phone, I’ve been thinking a lot about upgrading. And if money weren’t a problem, I’d definitely be looking at an iPhone, probably somewhere between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 14. I’ve never used an iPhone before, so I’m curious to see what all the hype is all about. All my friends who has one have always said they can’t imagine going back to Android. I’m really curious what makes iPhones so special—whether it’s the smooth interface, the seamless way it works with other Apple products, or just something else entirely. I’ve spent most of my life using Androids, so I’m eager to experience the iPhone for myself.
One of the big reasons I’m leaning towards an iPhone is the camera. I’ve been posting on Hive for a while now, and it’s hard not to notice the difference in quality between iPhone photos and videos compared to Android. From what I’ve seen, the camera on iPhones is just on another level. I know it might sound a little superficial, but good quality photos and videos are really important for the kind of content I make and would like to make this year, and I feel like the iPhone would help me step up my game in that area.
Also, iPhones are known for their powerful processors, and honestly, that’s a huge deal for me. I’ve actually lost count of how many times my phone has frozen while I’m casually scrolling through TikTok or when i am trying to switch between apps . And those constant ‘low storage’ warnings? They’re the absolute worst. They slow everything down and make using the phone become very frustrating. I just love when I can run different things on my phone fast and smooth without any issues at all and I think iPhones are the perfect choice in that area.
Now, I know a lot of people say Android phones tend to have better battery life than iPhones. iPhones don’t usually have the highest battery capacity, and I’ve heard people complain about how quickly the battery drains. But I’m willing to give it a shot. I’ve heard that the newer models have decent battery optimization, and I’m hopeful that I won’t run into too many issues. Honestly, I’m more excited about the other features, like the camera and the fast processor.
At the end of the day, I think switching to an iPhone will be a nice change. I’m looking forward to trying something new and seeing what makes iPhones so different from Androids. The camera, the software , the processor and even the design, all sound like exactly what I need right now. I’ve heard so much about how smooth everything is on the iPhone, and I’m curious to experience it myself.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at. I’m ready for an upgrade, and I think an iPhone might be just what I need. My Samsung Galaxy A13 has actually served me well through these years, but I think it’s time for something new. I’m excited to see what the iPhone experience has to offer, and I can’t wait to just dive into it.

I used Android privately and Iphone for work side by side, I really don't understand the love for Iphone from so many people, it's garbage 🤨paying for the brand, everything is restricted trough your apple account or via Itunes, they demand you to pay for literally anything, even a simple charging cable is very expensive.
Fun fact, Iphone camera's are made by Sony and... Samsung 😁
I actually understand you but yeah experience they say is the best teacher so let me experience how it feels like from using it and then I can now decide maybe I would go back to using android again or not.
