Artificial intelligence has become a viable part of the human existence, but it is worthy to note that they exist mainly to support the human capabilities and take over it completely as thus is quite impossible. The human ability to be creative and active in decision making is one that cannot be replaced but AI can be used to perform some repetitive and mundane tasks hence they can actually take on such jobs as Data entry, routine bookkeeping, automated testing, document scanning, Mining, chemical handling, deep-sea exploration, space Fraud detection, weather forecasting, financial trend analysis, and medical imaging, supply chain optimization, Tracking climate change etc.

The topic of this discussion is about the kind of jobs AI can take over and the ones they cannot. Like I mentioned above, the artificial intelligence can take over such jobs that require high intensive and dangerous tasks like the examples mentioned above. Although humans can take on them but so as not to be dependent on repeating task, humans can take over jobs that require high emotional intelligence empathy decision-making and physical training.

One job I can boast of that AI cannot overcome is TEACHING. A teacher is not just anyone that uses disperse knowledge just for the sake of doing it, but he or she is one that build relationships with students to know where they lapse and how they can be revived, hence creating an emotion connection between teacher and student. Teachers, especially in my country go through vigorous trainings in education and these are broken down into four categories that involves foundational knowledge in education-related aspects of philosophy, history, psychology and sociology of education. As you can see, it's not all about the adequate knowledge in a subject but with skills that gives the right attitude towards teaching and psychologically evaluating a child or student.

This cannot be offered by artifical intelligence, although they help to offer materials, resources and support to aid a better and more equipped delivery of knowledge but can never replace a teacher who is hardworking and dedicated at his job. This is why students who wants to develop a career in teaching are advised to go directly for educational courses as it trains them better at an early stage, courses that can make you self reliant and seemingly irreplaceable with AI.

In conclusion, humans are dynamic hence susceptible to change, human teachers can detect these changes in their students and bring them to order. Again, teachers officers Moral and Ethical Guidance, they nurture creativity, they guide students in the right career path and to pursue their dreams. All these are qualities of a passionate teacher that AI cannot replicate.

I beg to differ. The existence of machine learning and biotech has proved that A.I can actually learn patterns and techniques to achieving this. I think Japan and some other countries already have this in place sef.

A historian pointed that A.I, just like humans, who operate on patterns (as studies suggest) rather than “feelings” (like we have been led to believe) can be taught and can learn. Gemini already going places with “humanising” answers. So I think, an A.I can definitely learn teaching and even excel more than humans. That’s my opinion anyway.

You have a point as well, but I just believe that human connection is a necessity in these areas.

Thank you so much for stopping by
