Zsweet Inzanity – Day 175

in Canna-Curate2 months ago

It has only been ten days since my last update, but lots has changed since then. So I wanted to report how things are going with my first outdoor cannabis grow. There is good news and bad news... first the good news.. Still have 4 out of the 4 plants, none have died. The bad news is two of them had to be cut back heavily. A certain plant had to be cut back down to just one cola. While the other got away with keeping two. And the other two are mostly unaffected.

This one is hit or miss right now. It has flowers forming, but a couple buds started turning black on top so I had to clip off the dead parts. So we shall see if this gets to flower without rotting.

The best of the bunch, it has needed almost no care. And seems quite happy. No rot found yet and doing great. Maybe I should pull off those dead leaves.

The worst of the bunch, only has a single stalk left. I will need to stake this thing soon.

I probably should pull off some of the leaves that come lose without cutting.

So no idea when they will be ready? Another month maybe?

During flower its normal to drop some leaves, but a lot of this was due to them getting over watered by us and that tropical storm that came through.

Some of the buds are starting to look real tasty.

That poor single stalk plant.. almost nothing left. It was bad, fungus gnats were moving in and the flowers under the dead leaves were turning grey/black. So I had to cut off much of the plant. As only one cola was still looking good at the time. I think I made the right choice, if I did not do this. Fungus gnats could have become a huge problem.

Amazed the one next to it is almost completely fine.

I counted at least a 18 buds on one of them.. topping them really helped increase the colas.

Topping them twice during their veg period helped them stay shorter. I have a feeling they would have got taller if they did not get stressed with the over abundance of water this season.

Still have high hopes for setting a yield record..

Hopefully next year will go more smooth.

It seems like they are recovering. Even the ones that got cut back the most.. they look like they are back to growing again.

Next year I will top them at least once, maybe twice again. And see how tall they get. I think if I did not top them at all and they did well I may need a ladder to get to all the buds. Then again, I will be trying out autos next year outdoor. So maybe topping is kind of pointless since they will not get too tall anyways.

Really glad at least one of them seems happy.

The mega cola on this should be impressive, since the plant is now putting all its energy into a single cola.

Will post more updates as I have them, but hoping in another month or two it should be ready to harvest.

You can play baseball with those colas! lol. Looks like you got a lot out of this years outdoor grow, even though you lost a lot of it, you gained a lot of knowledge:)

Hah baseball bat colas.. love it. Yeah the buds are really coming along. I would not be surprised if I still set a new yield record, even with the mistakes from this years grow.

Indeed I learned a lot

Wow, you have several marijuana plants. I'm sure that if you remove some dry leaves and diligently clean them, the plants will be healthier, and water them regularly and not excessively. You are really amazing, have a nice day ♥️

Yep I have four of them, the max I am allowed to grow here in Virginia.

Thanks, hope do you too.

They have grown really well. your continuous hard work of 175 days is reflecting visibly. Nice post !pimp

Thanks, they have come a long way.

Glad you liked the post.

They grow so well
You’re so good at growing plants
Love that!

Thank you, I am doing my best.

I really salute the way you farm, so much the sacrifice you made to take care of them, and the results of your hard work are now visible.
Cool my friend 👍

Thank you, they have come a long way.

Of course the care you have done is very good my friend @solominer but it is true that cannabis plants still get diseases, hopefully for the next cannabis plants to grow lush and healthy 😎

Much appreciated, yeah I hear cannabis plants can be more sensitive than other plants.

Yep, next grow will be indoors. So I think that should go smooth, as my others have.

Very extraordinary attention my brother, this looks more fertile than the previous post. although some of them are still in progress.

Hopefully, I can see the harvest

I think so too, much better than the last upvote.. those dying buds needed to cut off.

Yes you will see them in a future post, I also do a "guess the weight" contest where people can earn Hive if they guess the closest to the weight.

How many things have happened during this outdoor planting of your cannabis plants, without a doubt what you had to go through has served as an experience for the next planting season.

I hope that the bud harvest comes soon and that it has been very productive to plant outdoors

Thank you very much dear friend @solominer for sharing this update

So true, I have gained lots of experience from this grow. And next year it should go more smooth I would think.

Yes soon, maybe a month or two to harvest now.

Keep doing god`s work. This all looks like it took a lot of work.

Yes sir, I will keep doing gods work growing excellent cannabis plants.

Honestly growing indoors is harder.

Really? I have no knowledge of growing, so that is interesting to hear.

I wish the internet had a smell, I bet the air has a good smell around them.

Hah! Indeed it would, when I stand between all four I cannot help but to notice the smell.

Dude! great shots of your plants, although the outdoor growing is purely this you show us, one plant in great condition, and one not so great. The difficulties are bigger, but you also leave them a bit to their own devices and the weather defines most of what will happen to the little ones! I loved this update, keep up the good work!

Thanks, the buds are coming along nicely giving us some great shots.

Ah yeah, it would seem so. Well for my first outdoor grow if they do not die I think I did well..hahaha

Will do.

Very nice job 👏 going very well harvesting !!!! I hope you can get the most out of it congratulations.

Muy buen trabajo 👏 va muy bien la cosecha !! Espero le puedas sacar al máximo provecho felicidades

Thank you . I hope to get a good harvest too

it is a pity see buds dying but at least you will get some grs; will you put another one in that big farm ? to keep your cultivating cannabis :D

Yeah I'm gonna grow again next year outside.. hopefully will do better.

When I'm done with this grow I'm gonna start another grow indoors during the winter.

I love the care you have put into nurturing them, they definitely should reciprocate by giving you a bountiful harvest... ☺️
