Hello Everyone,
On the second day of not feeding the Crack Mack her foliage is starting to pick up pace with dropping.
I was feeding her every other day as it was, and today would have been a feeding day. This means I don't think cutting off the nutrients is the sole reason for the increase in foliage drop. I think it is just where the plant is in her flowering stage and is naturally sucking up nutrients from the foliage for bud production.

From a distance we can see the yellowing of the foliage is heavier above the top net. This makes sense because this is where the plant are absorbing the highest amount of light, which tells the plant to focus its energy the most in that area, hence the depletion of stored nutrients in the upper area of the plant happening at a faster rate than the lower area.
The buds continue to swell in size every day.
The resin production is very high with this plant through the entirety of flowering, and overall she is slow paced in every aspect of her growth during flowering. She prefers to take her time but but also develops in a way that is very steadily paced.
I think the high rate of foliage drop will continue for the rest of flowering, and I really don't mind because it helps more light penetrate down to the lower buds during these last couple weeks, and it will help in the end because it will be less foliage to contend with during the trim work.
That is going to do it for the update today.
How is the Crack Mack looking to all of you?
Do you think she will get a lot plumper by the new year?
I would love to read your thoughts in the comment section!
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a good day! -@futuremind
Save the leaves.. you can make hash, butter, etc..
I'll save some. There's going to be a lot of trim too, I'll likely make a big batch of butter from it.
MMMmmmmmm. Butter
