Crack Mack Update - Final Seven Days!

in Canna-Curate26 days ago

Hello Everyone,

I fell off with the posting for a week but that's ok because the progression of change with the Crack Mack doesn't look too much different from day to day at this stage.

The only thing that's really been happening is the buds are swelling a little more everyday, and the foliage (leaves) are turning more and more yellow.

In fact I feel this cannabis plant is ready for harvest, but I'm pushing her that extra week anyway.

Let's jump right into checking her out:

Let's compare this to a week ago...

last post...

With this shot alone it is noticeable the difference one week makes at this stage in flowering.

The earlier photo shows a greener bushier plant, where the latest photo shows a lot more bud and less thick green, an indicator that we are about done..

Bulbous and sticky is a good description for these buds. I'm not expecting much more in the line of "plumping", but rather trichome maturation in the form of degradation is the goal at hand for this last week. I don't have great tools for macro shots right now, but I am confident that a seventy day flower time will bring my trichomes to the degradation point I'm aiming for.

I may not be able to get much closer for macros right now, but I can tell by the overall shade and frosty look that we're looking at fully mature head rocking trichomes. I don't need macro ability to deduce this fact, but further inspection would likely show amber trichomes starting to emerge, and over this next week the plant will likely to do a rate of 30-50% amber trichome coverage, which should be just right for the effects I'm seeking for this sativa dominant Crack Mack.

There's no question we are looking at fully mature trichome coverage at their peak potency.

Speaking of harvests.. The cayenne peppers have been plentiful this round, giving me peppers the entire flowering cycle of the Crack Mack. I find it interesting and cool how the pepper plant somehow aligns itself with the flowering cycle of the cannabis while sharing space.

And Harvest time Harvey finds that pretty cool too. Just look at him giving me those lovey eyes.

That will do it for this update!

What do you all think of this Crack Mack?

I'd love to read your thoughts in the comment section!

Thank you for stopping by!

Have good day! -@futuremind

That's a damned big plant my guy 😜😜😜 DAMN BIG!

Also loving the chillis! I want to start a chilli garden soon... mostly Jalapenos! I'll do that within the next 3 months when I move into the new place!!

By the way broh, it's been months! How have you been doing?

Hey bro, it's good to see you!

You have a good eye when it comes to cannabis, this plant is indeed a monster and is my biggest one yet by far!

Make sure to be posting those pepper grows! As good as you are with mechanics I'd love to see what your hands can do with some plants!

I've been alright man... ups and downs of life, you know.. not bad though, how have things been for you and @misshugo?

I will for sure 🫡 from setting up the garden to letting them grow big! Dang I hope it'll be successfull I've never really jumped onto something like that!

Me and the Betty are going to start a potato garden as well, that should be pretty cool right! Atleast I think so!!

Well this year... ups and downs as you say my guy! It really threw is with a lot of curveballs but mostly everything is smoothed out now and ended it with a bang by buying property... (not to boast) but fuck that is a milestone!!!

That plant looks done to me

Oh it's definitely done man.. It's just very speedy with high sativa effects, which if fine, but I don't have a selection of bud and I need sedative effects especially for night time, so... pushing her to get that extra amber trich coverage..

I like how the garden has a Zen feel to it like a Japanese garden.

In all actuality this style of cannabis cultivation is akin to bonsai, kind of.. lol ;D

Wow, there are quite a few yellow leaves. I love how the colors and tones look in the photos where you see all the plants.
Many congratulations for your achievements this year, surely you have gone through complicated things that one does not end up telling here but I congratulate you for having overcome them, I think this is the third year that I greet you for the holidays and although we do not know each other I feel like a friend, congratulations.

Thank you my friend, the yellow leaves are an indicator that the plant is near completion of its flowering cycle.

Indeed this is a great achievement for this year and you are right I go through complicated life patterns that I don't talk much about on here. I used to blog about my life years ago but now I just blog about plants and sometimes 3D printing.

You have also achieved a multitude of amazing things this year and I believe next year you will surpass those achievements with more amazing achievements and inspirations.
