Hi all,
Sorry for the late update, I went to the city for the weekend to visit friends but I did manage to pick up some seeds! Orange Blossom, the same variety I had to cut short in the last grow, it was awesome!
I'm going to wait until I have a new bag of lightmix before starting them, I don't want to get caught out! Hopefully this coming weekend, though the guy giving me a lift is unreliable! I need to test the bulb too just to make sure! If I have money I'll pick up some fresh nutrients too but can wait a little on that if needed.
Back to the outdoor auto... STILL no clear trichomes that I can see! I'm calling this, just going to water it, no more nutrients, if I see trichomes turn clear I'll let it grow a bit longer but hopefully by next weekend it'll be harvested and drying before putting in jars for curing.
Let me know in the comments if you think I should wait for brown trichomes?
I'd really love to see some clear trichomes!

Oh my Lord! What a beautiful growth I see here, for sure I wouldn't wait much longer to harvest, but I've never had this strain and maybe it's as you say and you have to wait for more trichomes. Either way, I see exceptional care in them. I sincerely congratulate you. And I admire the work you have done.
Thank you! 👊👊
I hope it turns out well 🤞💪
Those brown spots could be rotting (?)
that does not look good, tbh.
Don't they all start out transparent and then turn milky or amber?
I might be mistaken, but I think it works the other way around.
A quick Google confirms you are correct!
No idea how I got that wrong!
Though still surprised there are no amber trichomes.
Have to admit I didn't like those brown spots! Not sure if it was supposed to do that or not
Some strains never go amber (White Widow as best example).
The brown spots: If you can pull those brown leaves out without any resistance, it's probably rot.
I would harvest it right now and save what I can, if I were you.
But I also don't want you to panic about it.
I have 0 experience... but I've read/watched a ton about it, during the last 3 months or so.
I might be wrong.
sorry to bring those bad news 😔
I should have checked the clear/milky/amber, I was so sure of myself! 😭
Yeah, I'll get it harvested...
The brown bits stayed put when I gave them a tug, cut the plant anyway.
Note to self do that sort of thing AFTER you go to the shops not before! 🤣
Your doing good but waiting , definitely want it the best it can be .
There's this nagging voice in my head (metaphorically, I'm not crazy...) that says this was supposed to take 10-12 weeks and now on week 16!
The other voices agrees with you, do it properly!
