A new beginning! Fresh seeds, more kit and a can do attitude! 🤣
The shop I went to only had a 200w CFL (and lower) so I got that
Buying the 125mm cool tube was a mistake, the new CFL will only fit without the reflector:
So I've put the CFL on the old standard hood reflector and will use the cool tube for the 600w HPS when it's time.
I forgot to buy more ducting and clamps so have trimmed the exhaust tube and will use duct tape to connect everything when I swich to flower.
I bought a pack of 3 Triple G and got a free Wedding Cake:
I made sure to pull away the sides of the peat discs, loosened the top layer of dirt a little, dropped the seeds in and covered.
I marked the Wedding Cake with a piece of card
Watered and covered the incubator
The light is not plugged in yet, I'll leave in the dark a few days then adjust the height. I think when I switch the light on I'll switch off the incubator. Not sure if I'll keep them covered yet, see how I feel. I need to clean the incubator.
I wish I'd found the shop I bought the cool tube from earlier, turns out it's they supply most of the grow shops, it's massive! Two huge warehouses though I only saw the shop entrance but they had a few tents set up and a whole bunch of goodies on display, no seeds though but had already bought them from the 1st shop.
I've picked up some new veg nutes as was out and some potassium silicate which I've heard good things about on YouTube.
I'm planning on using the SCROG net to get a good canopy and I was talking to @futuremind on Discord and he may have talked me into working the stem (mainlining? HST? not sure on terminology), I might try it on one of the 3Gs to get a comparison and if I mess up I still have 3 plants left.
Looking at dates it'll probably be Christmas when I switch to flower.
I still need to pick up more lightmix but I think I have enough for my little pots which will be good for a few weeks at least.
Not much else to say for now except watch this space!

I think you have a really good vision developing with how you're going to manage this grow.
You're not alone with getting these terminologies memorized 😂 I find it much simpler to just differentiate between what is obvious low stress training vs high stress. If we're crushing cell membrane walls it's pretty high stress. We got monster cropping, super cropping, mainlining... I think I'm going to have to write this stuff down on the wall for reference :D
I'm looking forward to seeing your upcoming cannabis plants. That incubator will be really nice for the seedlings :)
I just happened to watch the latest video from '420 scene' after I posted and he used the term mainlining to describe what I thought was LST - bending the stems for spread - what I was using the SCROG for. I admit I thought it was squeezing the stems (HST) which is what I intend to do to one plant
I also had a doubt in my mind as to if I should use the silicate at the same time as nutes or alternate and he happened to address that too! Alternate.
I swear Google/YT reads my mind sometimes!
I had been doubting the incubator but I'm 99% sure my kill streak was light related - too much power for small plants so sticking with it 🤞
those seeds gonna be a great plants in a few weeks, wedding cake sounds like strongs buds :D
