I am so grateful to the herb that opened the doors of natural healing to me, just about 10 years ago. Of course I had heard of herbalism and smoked a fair amount of joints in my teenage years but, it wasn't until I worked one summer on a cannabis farm in Oregon, USA that I really, truly got to learn of the healing benefits of our beloved marijuana.
Surrounded by towering plants of green and purple hues all day resulted in dreams of their lovely leaves and flowers all night. What I found to be most life changing was the hours and hours spent trimming off their leaves and staring into the freshly trimmed psychedelic buds. Just touching the flowers all day had me feeling a particular buzz. The power of the flowers seeped into my blood stream and opened up a whole realm of possibilities that I had never before understood.
Maybe ... I thought ... working as a herbalist was my destiny.
Fast forward to now. I have my very own garden, my very own herbalism business, and a half dozen cannabis plants growing in the middle of everything. I do dream of growing cannabis on a larger scale someday and contributing to the future economy that I hope sprouts out of recent legalization here in Argentina.
((trimming back a huge catnip plant so that it will burst with flowers in a couple of weeks))
I would never want to dedicate to cannabis alone. How could I when this world is full of a plethora of healing plants that go so well together?
Alongside my pot plants grows giant catnip plants and smaller lemon balm. There are four types of mint, ginger, lavender, poleo, gingko, turmeric, echinacea and (a new addition this year) tulsi. In general I would say my interests lie in supporting the nervous system as well as growing herbs that cultivate an open mind. One day I would love to grow coffee plants, kava, and passion flower too. For now, I am so pleased to stroll into my garden, check on my girls while I harvest bunches of catnip or leaves for a herbal pesto.
Where I would be without the support of these majestic herbs I do not know, nor do I even want to imagine it!

You're so very talented :)
beautiful! :)
Thank you!!
There's really something magical about a herb garden and obvs. Canna has its place too. Got home from holidays and the lemon balm is unusually small but every else is going great guns.
