Good morning to all my beloved hive friends and to all mushroom lover friends whom I respect ♥️
Maybe one or two more days before Friday I will definitely do an activity that has become my routine, namely hunting mushrooms, even though I am busy I still take the time to do it because it is indeed a joy for me when I do it. On January 08, 2025, precisely in the afternoon, I and one of my friends went mushroom hunting around the village, but to get unique mushrooms of course we have to really look for them seriously, so we went around the village and would explore every garden that we believed had mushrooms.
Until we arrived at a garden in the hills, this former corn plantation had many dead trees, which convinced me that there would be some mushrooms growing in this garden. We explored the garden from the bottom to the top and looked at each tree to see if there were any mushrooms growing.
When we arrived at the top of the final hill, we immediately found several mushrooms growing abundantly on a fallen areca nut tree. My friend did not waste the opportunity and immediately took a photo session of the mushrooms.
This mushroom grows in groups so that there are several mushrooms growing together in the same place, and the color of this mushroom also has a reddish brown color, from this color that makes this mushroom look so unique.
But on the other hand I also managed to find this mushroom growing alone and separate from its group.
What does it look like?
And this mushroom does not only grow on dead areca nut trees, because I managed to find this mushroom growing on several other trees, so it can be concluded that this mushroom can grow in several different places so that the mushroom population can be safe.
However, whether this mushroom is also the same mushroom, this does not convince me because this mushroom has a different color from the previous mushroom, and the stem of this mushroom also looks taller than the previous mushroom, but whether this is the same mushroom, I also do not know.Of course these mushrooms grow in the same place but on different trees.
After we were satisfied looking for mushrooms around the garden on this hill, we immediately went to another garden, and at that time we decided to visit the palm oil plantation owned by local residents because in the garden there was a place to dispose of the palm oil pulp itself, so that it was possible for lots of mushrooms to grow there.
However, to get to the oil palm plantation is not easy because we have to walk through very steep hilly roads, plus it is currently the rainy season so the road we pass is also very muddy and of course slippery. But that did not make us desperate because we kept walking and continued to climb the hilly roads until we finally arrived at the oil palm plantation.
When we arrived at the palm oil pulp dump, we didn't need to bother looking for mushrooms there because there were so many mushrooms growing on the palm oil pulp, so I looked for some unique mushrooms to photograph.
This mushroom has a tall stem and has a very large top that resembles an umbrella, because it really looks real. And this is what the back of this mushroom looks like
This mushroom is shaped like an umbrella but with a small size. This mushroom itself grows on palm oil pulp that has begun to rot so that the existence of this mushroom itself is also a fortune for some people who know it, because this mushroom itself can be eaten especially when this mushroom is still new to grow which has a shape like a flower bud.
Because we managed to find several types of very unique mushrooms, we felt satisfied and immediately rushed home, and we went home on foot, the results we obtained were very satisfying, it was truly a very enjoyable mushroom hunt.
