PHOTOGRAPHY | The Commune Schizophyllum

in FungiFriday3 years ago
Hello everyone, hope everyone is always healthy and happy...This post is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw.

This is a fungus that is common in my area, maybe also in many areas where friends live. Even all over the world this mushroom can be found. Especially in tropical or sub-tropical areas.

Physically, this fungus grows in colonies on dry or dead wood. As I found this, it grows on dried pine trunks. Its shape is like a small coral that we usually encounter in the sea with a dense, chewy composition.

From the existing literature, this type of fungus has the Latin name Commune Schizophyllum, from the family Schizophyllaceae Source.

Here are some pictures I share, may be useful...

Thank you for your support...

Best regard,
@pieasant
