Fungifriday: Ramania Mushroom with Soft Texture

Still grouped in the Ramaria family, a species of coral-shaped fungus. However, this one looks more like cabbage than coral. According to my observer, the texture of this red Ramaria has a soft texture, like broccoli, which makes me want to bite it. I think from its appearance this mushroom is indeed delicious to cook, stir-fry. Because I was curious about its soft texture, I searched for information on the internet and it turned out that someone said that Ramania mushrooms can be consumed.

As I write now I am still sweating, walking with my friends @akukamaruzzaman and @ferifelanai, along the small forest hills behind the IAIN campus, Lhokseumawe City. After two hours of hunting mushrooms, we stopped at a shop for coffee and started writing posts while relaxing.

The rainy season at the beginning of the year gave me a blessing as a mushroom lover. To be precise, Friday, January 17, 2025, which was a little wet. Beautiful mushrooms were scattered among the bushes under the shade of the trees. And the rainy season is the breeding season for beautiful mushrooms.
