A Strange Message - With You!

Reed. Lots of them. Very visible and high, they stretched to the sky.
Well, not to exaggerate, they just grew towards that blue canvas decorated with clouds...

Still, much taller than me, I was almost lost among them. But some risks have to be taken if one wants to find some mushrooms for #FungiFriday.

It was a Sunday afternoon when I needed to unwind my mind, as I felt already a bit overwhelmed by different situations. Also, last week I didnt have a free day, I worked seven days out of seven. So the needed chilling walk happened by the river, taking the longer route.

As an additional purpose of that walk, my eyes wanted to see those small friends of ours, called mushrooms.

Hm, could this be the answer, where could I find them? The information board showed the peaks of the mountain Serra Bernia, but I couldn't see any indication about the mushrooms I was searching for.
Not that it would be the end of the world, anyway I already accepted the situation that the aliens took them away from Spain.

Finally, a sign of hope came. A heart carved into the bark of a tree, with the message:

With You

Maybe, but only maybe, the mushrooms left this message for me, that they are still somewhere, with us, with me. That there will be some of them in this post, not just (almond?) tree flowers.

From those, however, I have seen plenty of. For example, this one:

...and a bit more of it... they are nice, but, where are the mushrooms?

So, what should I say to all of you? The truth or should I show more flowers and no-mushroom related content??

As for a valid entry, @ewkaw said we have to share anything that has a connection with mushrooms. And mark that it is our contribution to the #FungiFriday event, that is held by her! I think I have to be fair and quench this thirst for mushrooms. Although don't expect much.

The awesome finding is nothing else than a chewed white mushroom cap. Hidden in a part of a stump, where still leaves from autumn protected it from the sight of the curious people. However not hidden enough from a hungry animal that has tasted it. I hope it's not some poisonous species.

The little friend of that unlucky chewed mushroom was intact. His cap was round and without any damage. I suppose the creature that tasted the big mushroom was not hungry anymore after having a bite or two.

The two of them were wrapped into those fallen leaves, probably waiting for some warmer spring days. I didnt want to bother them for too much time, after all, they deserved a bit of respect and tranquillity, as they are the only mushroom guests in this post...

Or, maybe they are not the only ones?

I am not sure do these ones count as a valid finding, but the huge crying mushrooms are also here. And they are not crying anymore. They dried, all of those that came some time ago { click here to see the difference } to this Fungi corner.

It dried to that level that in the part of spores, bigger holes appeared. To be honest, I don't know if someone made those hole patterns or it is the effect of the drying process.

The other one (on the tree where I needed to climb the wooden fence to be closer to it) was also dried. However, intact and without those holes, as the other big mushroom has. I climbed again to take this photo:

And that's it...

Unfortunately, no other mushroom crossed my path (it should be the opposite, as I was the walking one). But as we read in the message: With You! I will have to make a conclusion that these last ones, the big dried mushrooms are indeed still with us.

The message was not false, it was true! :))
