An unexpected meeting with... mushrooms (#fungifriday)

I ended up in this place by accident, because the original plan of my walk was different. Probably intuition... This is a great land of pines, strawberries and all kinds of herbs, including, for example, motherwort.
Pines grow so quickly and take up space. It smells amazing here. And mushrooms grow here very well, but not always:)
It's very hot here in the summer, so I haven't been to this place for a long time.

According to the plan, I just wanted to admire the scenery and relax.
But pleasant meetings with representatives of the fungi world lifted my spirits and filled my wanderings with meaning.

Agaricus arvensis (Horse mushrooms). Unfortunately, I did not take this mushroom, because I am not 100% sure if it is edible. But I suspect that this is a relative of those champignons that are sold in stores.

A little puffballs (Lycoperdon perlatum). Edible mushrooms at a young age, but I have never tasted them...

Nearby, I noticed a bright orange cap. A young Leccinum aurantiacum. It really seem to have grown overnight... So slim!

Next, in the deep grass, I came across tiny "buttercups" or slippery jack,
officially Suillus luteus. These mushrooms grow here because they love the company of pine trees.
I saw a lot of these mushrooms in the clearing, but some are still too small to pick.

And here, a poisonous mushroom settled among them!
From above, it almost does not differ from its neighbors. I tore it off and looked under the cap! And here is a hymenophore with plates. I don't know the species of this mushroom, but it is probably poisonous. This is how mushrooms like to pretend! Be careful!

Slippery jacks are a bit like slugs. At a young age, they are just as slippery and have drops under the surface of the cap. They are tastiest in pickled form.

Collecting these little ones is a real quest! My photos are hard to convey how small they are! Here is the height of the grass for comparison. Inside, mushrooms have their own cozy world.

So, here I can relax with pleasant feelings.
And here are our landscapes! All around is a beautiful, wide, still green world. Summer still holds its power!

I hope to be able to return:)

Червоноголовці дуже гарно виглядають на фото! Краса! Хоча маслючки набагато смачніші))

Поділіться рецептом, як класно приготувати маслюки:) Бо для мене вони ніякі... Хіба для маринування:)

Beautiful glowing discoveries. 🍄💚
