This is my contribution to the #fungifriday contest organized by @ewkaw
This morning while walking in the garden behind the house yard with a very calm atmosphere, the fresh morning air and the chirping of birds added to the joy of the morning, while I was there I found something that was so beautiful and really attracted my attention, a coconut tree. had long fallen and rotted in the corner of the garden to become a place for very charming little creatures to grow, this find was like a treasure hidden under the shade of green trees, at first I didn't notice, but when the morning sun reflected on its white surface, the mushrooms sparkling and as if calling me to come closer.
This white fungus grows in small groups and is scattered on the surface of rotten and wet coconut trunks and Its size is small and no bigger than the tip of my little finger.
However, the shape of this fungus is very perfect, at first glance it looks like a small umbrella made with extraordinary detail, the first one I saw had a pure white color, while the second one I saw had already bloomed and had a brownish color but both still looked very beautiful with their own uniqueness, and when I looked closer I could see very clearly the fine structure of the mushroom Meanwhile, I noticed that the mushrooms were already blooming lines running from the center to the edge, this mushroom looks like a work of universal art that is so fragile but has a beauty that is hard for me to forget.
Then I tried to capture this moment with my cellphone camera and hoped to capture the beauty as best as possible, hopefully this mushroom will be accepted for the #fungifriday contest;
First, I tried taking photos from the top of the mushroom, and I did it without using an additional macro lens, this is the default version on my phone
Then I tried to take a picture from the side of the mushroom and hoped that the stem and cap of the mushroom would be caught by the camera
this is the appearance of small mushrooms growing in small groups, they look fresh and soft, the white color is very clean, it is a lucky morning for me to have the opportunity to find such beautiful creatures in the garden and unexpectedly.
then I found a pair of mushrooms that had expanded in the same place, but I still wonder if these are the same species? If you have any information please let me know
This pair of mushrooms has a brownish white color, but at the edge of the mushroom cap the color is completely brown, while the mushroom stem has two colors, namely half white and half brown.
I also found a pile of these mushrooms which were wilted and rotting, I estimate that these mushrooms had bloomed the day before, this is based on my experience in the world of mushrooms, the average age of mushrooms that I have studied is relatively short, so it makes sense that a pile of these mushrooms bloomed the day before.
Even though I have immortalized all the mushrooms with as much effort as possible, I still can't fully describe what I saw with my eyes. I think there is something magical about how these mushrooms grow, like there is an invisible harmony between coconut trees that have grown old fallen with new life emerging above it.
After being satisfied observing and capturing several pictures to share with you, then I continued walking around the garden with a different feeling, there was a deep sense of gratitude and admiration for nature and everything in it, but I apologize because this is the first I found thismushroom, so I don't know the name of the species either in general or scientifically, if you have information related to this fungus then please let me know so that my knowledge in the world of fungi continues to grow, thank you to everyone who has read my blog & see you in the next post #fungifriday ☺️☺️
