Collection of Gymnopilus purpuratus Mushrooms - Fungi Friday

in FungiFridayyesterday

Hello friends of the #FungiFriday community, wherever you are, I'm happy to be with you all. This time, I'm sharing an image of a beautiful mushroom from the species Gymnopilus purpuratus
The image I'm sharing this time is my Contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

These beautiful mushrooms grow in quite large numbers on a long-fallen tree. The tree's decaying appearance indicates its long-dead status, making it a good growing medium for mushrooms.

This mushroom is purple with a snow-white coating all over its cap. Its size is quite small but not too small, which makes it very attractive.

I took several photos from different angles to get a beautiful and interesting image of the mushroom.

This mushroom appears to have a rounded, umbrella-like cap, with spots on the cap's surface that are quite beautiful. The small spots appear to start in the center and become larger and spread throughout the cap, gradually decreasing in size.

This is a collection of similar mushrooms growing abundantly on a rotting trunk. It was raining when I took this photo, making the mushrooms look incredibly fresh.

Of course I was very happy to find this mushroom in the hunt, besides enjoying the hunting trip I was also happy with the results I got, you can see how beautiful these mushrooms are.
