FungiFriday: Pale Brittlestem Mushrooms That Occur Between Roots and Green Moss

It feels like just yesterday that Friday passed, and now it has come again. Yes, Friday is a special day for mushroom lovers to gather in the #FungiFriday community.

Today I am here with the mushrooms I found a few days ago in the local forest of Saweuk, North Aceh. I suspect that this is Psathyrella candolleana, or commonly called the pale brittlestem mushroom, belonging to the family Psathyrellaceae.

These mushrooms occur on the steep cliffs of the hills there. Mushrooms grow in clusters between the cracks of plant roots that have been filled with green moss. The color of the cap varies between brown and rusty yellow.

Based on what I know about this mushroom, it is edible. But I'm not crazy enough to pick it up and take it home. I often hear that many people are poisoned by mushrooms because they are not careful when identifying the mushrooms they find.
