[K-Drama] It's psycho, but it's okay. Review & OST (A little strange romantic comedy about love.)

I started watching this drama one step later than others. At first, it took me a long time to start because I didn't really understand what kind of drama it was, but once I started, I quickly became immersed and caught up with the main show.

It's a really attractive drama, so from now on, I'm going to try to figure out what the charm points are.

"Go Moon-Young and Moon Kang-Tae, aren't you both coming soon?"

This line can only be known by watching the drama... It was the most impressive scene.

Drama

Story without a hole

Personally, I think the biggest observation point of this drama is the psychological change and relationship change of the characters.

A person who doesn't care about other people's feelings comes to think about what other people's feelings are, a person who only thought he was a child becomes an adult, and a person who only takes care of his family finds their own happiness.

And in the process, someone who has been lonely all their lives creates a family.

When I first saw the drama, I was surprised by the performances of each actor, then I was impressed by the directing throughout the work, and finally, I admired the writer who wrote this story.

And it's been a long time since a drama where the three elements of the acting, directing, and script fit together, so I was happy.

In particular, the story of this drama is very strong. It is a work that is neither light nor heavy because it has a sense of reasoning and has a small laugh point.

Kang Tae, Sang Sang, and Moon Young meet when they were young, and a murder case takes place, and the process of their separation and reunion is as natural as flowing water.

And it was also good that in the process, it did not flow into a thriller in which the murder case was the main focus, but developed into small daily events.

In the first half of the work, the focus is on the relationship between Kang-tae and Moon-young and the events between the people around them, so you can be healed and have fun, but in the second half, the thrill of the murder case is unraveled.

It feels like you have caught the middle point without getting bored by throwing rice cakes on them and collecting them in a hurry, or getting bored with everyday things too much.

To be honest, the setting for Do Hee-jae was a little disappointing, but I thought that it might have been appropriate to finish it like this, since it's not a thriller drama.

In fact, unlike movies, dramas have to keep breathing for a long time, so there are of course boring parts in between.

However, the story was structured enough to overshadow it and the characters were attractive, so the boring parts were felt to the point of being trivial.

So, when the drama ended, all the sad parts were forgotten and only the impression that 'it was a really well made drama' remained.

Directing that grinds the soul

You could tell by just watching the first episode that you put your soul into the directing.

In addition to the scene change from the bus where Kang Tae was riding to the lucky shop, it was also impressive that animation was used in the first scene that opens the gates of the drama.

And it was consistent and good to relate the content of the fairy tale to each episode.

Besides the editorial aspect, the detailed direction of the actors' performances was also good.

Since changes in the characters' emotional lines and personality changes are important parts, I felt that directing the expressions for each scene was important.

In fact, when I watched the main story, I didn't know the actors' facial expressions carefully, so I was surprised to see the making videos continue to give direction to the actors even in one scene.

In the 10th episode, there is a scene where Kang-tae walks with Moon-young behind her, and there is a scene where Moon-young looks at Kang-tae's back and cries.

At this time, the director said, 'It's very strange to cry because of other people' and gives direction to the character Moonyoung.

And Moon-young immediately wipes her tears and plays an awkward performance.

At first, I didn't think the role of directing was huge, but after watching the making video, I found out that directing and leading the overall work is the directing.

It seems that the hard work and devotion of the staff and actors who went into the drama can be clearly seen by watching the making video.

And, to say the least, Kim Soo-hyun's good looks in the making are excellent ^^.

Not one person, but everyone’s growth drama

I think it's the actors' performances that make the drama complete.

And for the smoke to shine, character setting is also important.

As I said before, 'Psycho But It's Okay' is a drama that fits well in three beats, and that's why the actors' passionate performances shine even more.

1.jpg

First of all, Kim Soo-hyun's acting is perfect, needless to say.

In order to take care of my brother who has autism, I had to give up my own desires and happiness, and it perfectly expressed Kang-tae, who lived a life that was natural.

As Kangtae’s character, he had to convey a lot with his facial expressions, but Kim Soo-hyun showed that well.

When there was a scene where Kangtae was crying, he looked so sad that I felt sad at the same time, and when he smiled at the moment he slept because of overflowing happiness, the corners of his mouth would rise too.

And the process of Kang-tae gradually becoming a person who thinks of 'me' rather than his older brother, and who knows how to make 'real laughter' rather than fake laughter, clearly expressed the process.

Next, Seo Ye-ji's acting was really impressive.

I don't think I'll ever forget the scene where he confronts the elk.

It was nice to see the change in which Moon-young, a psycho who doesn't care about other people's feelings, understands and sympathizes with other people's feelings, and even sheds tears with them, calmly revealed throughout the drama.

And as I gradually realized that she wasn't a real psycho but was raised 'like a psycho', her character, Moonyoung, came to me so attractive.

The long-awaited actor Jung-se Oh's acting really doesn't seem to be enough to praise him all night long.

Not only acting with words, but also acting with the whole body from head to toe, the character of the state was able to blend well into the work.

It seems that the character that best expressed the theme of the work 'Psycho but it's okay' is the state.

In a state that seemed to have never really changed, Kang-tae said 'Kang-tae' instead of 'my', and he embraces Kom-young as his younger brother and family, embracing everyone.

A change in status impresses those around you and grows with you. And at the same time, it gives a big resonance to the viewers who see the work.

'Psycho But It's Okay' is a drama in which each character grows, and at the same time, the viewers who watch it are also moved and grown.

Therefore, the emotion and resonance of the drama is doubled. If anyone has not yet seen this drama, I recommend that you run and watch it right away.

I guarantee that anyone who sees this drama will fall in love with its charm.
