Good morning. Don Henley's a cool dude, eh? You know all about how he spearheaded the Supreme Court trial to do away with what was once musics stranglehold. Apparently when they signed an artist to a deal back in the day, the label owned that artist for something like 10 years.
Artists began finding loopholes such as name changing, Prince is a good example of that. Anywho, he won. Labels can't do that anymore. Good stuff.
