That's the second time I've heard someone say my handle on here, the first dude was doing some metal scrapping. You had it right the first time, D and A's. Is it horrible I love hearing it? = } No, seriously, has there ever been a cooler handle??

Good morning Rory! Thanks for doing my request. I love the whole McPherson Fleetwood drama and all the chart toppers that followed. Each time Stevie or Peter or whoever would bring their songs to Mick Fleetwood, he must've read them like "this is it, we're really going down the shitter this time.."

Instead it's a masterpiece.

What people like myself like about Rory Laird is he gives no fucks. Knows the song, doesn't know it, rain, road traffic, doesn't matter—plucks it anyway. Hive has a way of finding talent like that.

Do you have kids? I think you said you did, do they play instruments?

Bro what?! That sounds like my buddy, @wannabescrapper! I love that guy man, I’m bummed he left but of course I understand we all gotta take our own path.
I was wondering when I said it, should I leave this out? …maybe he doesn’t want to be dragged into this… LOL – so I’m stoked it had the opposite effect =)
…and no, I seriously doubt there’s a cooler handle out there 😊

Good morning to you as well my friend! You are most welcome, and I am sincerely grateful for the request. This was a really fun challenge, and now I’m looking forward to honing it down and polishing the edges. I love those kinds of band stories. Like, I believe Tom Petty actually whipped up the first lines of Free Fallin’ as a joke, just hanging out in the studio and his producer was like – that’s you’re next hit…write it. Or Aerosmith, in Sweet Emotion, the maraca at the beginning of the song was actually a sugar packet! Steven added it in at the last minute because he felt something was missing but they didn’t have any real maracas in the studio LOL

What an endorsement! Man, you just made my day hahaha – and speaking of rain/weather…you’re gonna dig Hotel California when that publishes next Tuesday. I got so lucky, it was like the earth and skies wanted to jam with me 😊

I do, I have two daughters, 7 and 4. Right now I’ve gotten them a few instruments but nothings really pulled them in yet…except singing. They both love singing. I’m hoping to do a song with them at some point. The 7yo likes We Are Going to Be Friends by Jack White, so that’s an easy yes. The 4yo loves Mr. Crowley by Ozzie…I’m not sure how well she’ll do at actually performing it, but at some point after the 100 are done, I think I’d like to give them both a chance to shine here on the chain.

Thanks for checking it out and commenting brother, the engagement side of things really is my favorite part of all this.

Did I understand that correctly, your 4 year old's gonna duet Mr Crowley with you? I so approve this behavior.

Yessir! LOL She requests it whenever we’re in he car :)

…shoulda seen the looks I got when we pulled up to preschool orientation with her favorite song blasting last week 🤣🤣🤣
