The best and most up-to-date place is Soundcloud. I have also been experimenting with Wavlake in order to earn some sats, both platforms earn a little bit.

Apart from that I've been working on building a new community right here called the Hive Sound Library, which you might like to check out?

I don't know Wavlike, is it like Distrokid?
Of course I will! Thanks for the heads up!

Not quite, it’s more it’s own kind of thing and you can earn bitcoin sats, which incidentally can easily be converted to Hive using the v4v.app. I can go into more depth if interested. Would make a great topic for a detailed post.

I would actually be interested! I opened my profile a few minutes ago... but I'm already stuck on the wallet choice... 🙃

Ok lightning wallets are many and it depends on whether you already have one or not. If you’re new to Lightning, then there are some great resources to get you started.

I’ll put together some notes because whilst this stuff isn’t Hive per se, it’s certainly an adjacent topic and can be transferable.

I use Alby now, although getting an account at first wasn’t as easy as it could be; at the time there was a waitlist, one day I got in.

Finally, I must say I’ve not tried using nicklewis@v4v.app with Wavlake - I’m quickly trying it now…

Will update here if it worked!

There is Fountain by the way which comes with a wallet.

OK thank you, I'll try to find some more info, for example I might have a lightning wallet e.g. Binance, Kraken or others...

Yeah is an important step, as many of us here on Hive quite often have touched upon Bitcoin at some point.

My experiment with adding nicklewis@v4v.app worked. I say that because it let me add the lightning address, I can test it or wait for someone to tip one of my tracks. If it lands in my Hive wallet, that will confirm this.

Though I might still revert it back to Alby and Keep them separate.
