RE: Consequences of our Choices

in Proof of Brain2 years ago

This is a wonderful post right here.

I always have this argument with my hubby. 2 years back he almost died and yet he cannot give up completely on drinking.

Old habits die hard. He would eventually stop someday but healing takes a process

We can say consequences of our choices is nothing but our Karma. What we sow, we reap....right?

I know a lot of people who would argue about this. They have this believe that they could do whatever the want to and at the last minute they pray and ask for forgiveness and then they are saved.

They forget the fact that every action has a reaction. They maybe forgiven but would still have to face the consequences.

People indulge in toxic lifestyle making their own choices and when the consequences hit them they start blaming God and their Destiny.

This too got me cracked up a bit because it's true. They probably think God doesn't like them or that their destiny was written with blue ink while other people's destiny was written with golden ink.😂

Thank you for your reflection. Yes, I am also hoping and working on it that he should quit completely.
This forgiveness thing is absurd. It means you keep doing wrong and then ask forgiveness every time and think that you are done with it. Crazy....
Blaming God is the easiest thing we humans can do to cover our own mistakes :-)

That's is the easiest way out, blaming God.
