Meaning - An Unpleasant Experience induces caution.
This happens with me all time, I mostly learn the hard way in life by failing first time but I prepare for next time and make sure it doesn't happen again.
Its the reality though, if you have bad experience with something you will get alert to try same mistake again, it's something good and necessary too. 😊🙏 !PIZZA

Your mistake means a lot if you can learn from it and avoid it next time.
I also had some experience in which I failed but learn from and make more preparation.
I agree with you, personally I try to take caution as a result of other people getting bitten, I don't know if I make sense. Basically I like to try and avoid some mistakes based on what it has done to other people.
I also know about this proverb after every unpleasant situation you have to caution yourself so it won't repeat itself
