Hi everyone, how was your day and hope it's cool. My today activity was good and great.
First when I wake up I take care of my body and have my breakfast and after Dat I heard straight to the school. So wen I reach the school I went to my classes and some of the class hold and some don't so I finished with my classes by 2pm and after Dat I went to the laboratory to continue my project work.
So, wen I got to the laboratory my supervisor asked me to prepare 0.11m of ammonium acetate, 0.5 of hydroxide amine hydrochloride, 13% hydrogen peroxide, 0.1m of sodium hydroxide, 12m of hydrogen chloride.
So after Dat after Dat my supervisor ask me to carry out an extraction on PAHS(poly aromatic hydrocarbons) in urine.
The extraction go thus we measure 15ml dichloromethane into the separating funnel and the urine was drawn using syringe and added to the DCM(dichloromethane) inside the separating funnel we are going to shake thoroughly and we set it on restore stand and let it settle and we extract the solvent.
When we add dichloromethane the extract was on top of the solution. But when we add N-hexane the extract was below the solution.
N-hexane was add to the solution a d was shake thoroughly allow to settle in other to drawn the extract.
I leave the laboratory by 4pm because I have a football match which is final so after I got home I freshing up and I kit up to stadium and I played the and we won.so after I went home and had my dinner.
So Dat how my day went.
