I don't need to come here to tell you the truism that everyone in the hive and its sub-communities loves financial gain. What we also have to remember is all the social capital built on this platform.
Even many of us with 4 years on the platform since S*****t, we know that everything is still very new. And that next to other social networks, we are very small in number of unique users.
However, the profit that many of us end up leaving behind is the social capital that we create, and this cannot be measured very often in values.
I'm recently talking to several friends and introducing them to the platform, however, instead of letting them out here for them to learn by themselves, as it was with me in 2017, I preferred to teach them how not to make mistakes that I made in the beginning , and ways to prosper for example:
Losing the password: When I made my first account, I didn't pay much attention to keeping the password well, and a month later I ended up losing it, so I had to make a new account, the one I've been using since then
Better formatting a text: Nothing is more comforting than reading a well-written text and not just disconnected single words, I always try to alert my friends who join the community about the importance of making a quality post and how much it attracts curation
The importance of commenting: I try to stress whenever possible that interacting with other users is one of, if not the best way to grow in Hive. You being an active person who is interested in interacting with other people makes a good impression, and people will want to interact with you back.
A live example that we have in POB is @absolutfreedom that has been around for a short time and has already made several friends, and is managing to achieve his goals.
So it's always good to remember that profit is a good thing, but what we generate here in terms of content, friendship and the name we build day by day also has great value, and it's a value that we don't see through numbers like we see our balance on the wallet.
These crypto social networks are more than a hustle. They are closer to a social experiment. I'm discovering what it is like to have direct rewards but not to expect them. Kind of a behaviorism project.
Preciso lembrar de participar mais do POB Talk. Participei umas duas ou três vezes mas muitos dias acabo esquecendo

Waw I really love all what you said ... Yeah friends I really love to make new friends .. meet new people that can make impact in your life... Never surround yourself with caterpillars, surround yourself with pillarsthis is what my grandpa told me before he died ..... I really love to make friends ....
Like seriously I don't take the password serious ... All my mentality is that I can't loose it... I think is high time I keep it in somewhere more safer .. maybe I should drop that in my diary... Thanks for the good word @vempromundo
You are not far from the truth
In HIVE, everything is still very new, and we are gradually adapting to all of them
Even though we are not plenty as compared to other social media platforms, the fact that we bond as family, giving value, and receiving value is the reason we always end up with huge amount of rewards
Anyone joining HIVE should pay close attention to the ideas you mentioned
They should take care if their passwords, they should try as much as possible to create quality and well written contents, and they should not be lazy about engagements
If anyone does all three correctly, he or she will be earning, learning, and growing at the same time
The truths I wish I knew earlier when I started here on hive. Especially the interaction part. Engagement is truly key in the building relationship and growing around here. Doing that will also help in the long term as more users join us. Thanks for the creation of POB talk initiative. Really a cool place to be on POB
It is good to know these things from the hand of an experienced person, I also started several years ago, but only a few months ago I have been more active within the platform and really interacting with other users within the platform is enriching and brings many. Best results . I'm enormously grateful for the #pob-talk, it's really fantastic and if anyone hasn't joined the talk yet, it's time to do it, there's a lot of good energy there.
Fiz vários projetos assim dede a época do Steemit.
Nice. Taking two steps forward.
This is a great guide to newbies concerning their password.
Most neglect the fact of keeping there product key safe and they end up loosing it.
Most of all do fall victim of making a quality post which I'm part of it, I really find it difficult to do some research and creat post that will attract attention.
However when it comes to comment and engagement in the community I do well to interact and comment on posts, especially on article that are interesting.
If you've also taken time to know I'm a participant in the POB talk show which I've won couple of times.
This is rebloged by me I really wish the newbies will take notes of all this and become more active in the community.
Absolutely, commenting is the best way to grow and make friends. I don't see much happening here. I love to comment and interact with people, new people everyday.
I am becoming lazy with formatting here because of the frontends here. Why can't the just have justify, left, right or center align? That would be much easier than code mode. Sorry to whine, but that's how I feel.
I agree password security issue is the most important and can't be stressed enough.
Thanks for this wonderful share.
Bom texto, dar boas dicas para a galera é essencial!! E olhar além das recompensas dos posts também é importante, tem curadoria, comentários, conexões, etc.
What a wonderful point of view dear @vempromundo. Its very thoughtful and generous of you. Indeed social capital is the greatest legacy we can earn. Most important is it depends on relationships and friendship, no more worry of market. It's always been a bull trend in social capital, here you only gains. Rewards are plus point on social Blockchain, but the journey is worth venturing. We can all agree that we have learnt so much from each other here and that's can't be placed in market value. It's fun, relaxing, exciting, challenging, interesting and surprising as well. I have participated in last 3 POB talks and already made a wonderful connection with fellow users. We get to know each other better and found interesting things. Each POB talk episode is full of surprises and curiosity. It's definitely a great initiative. Thanks friend 🙏
You've been nothing but patient with me, helping me put my enthusiasm into practice, giving me tips on how to build my own audience from the beginning! I can only hope to be able to pass on forward all this goodwill and help others as well!Thank you for all your support @vempromundo!!
I was talking to @calumam yesterday about some contest ideas, I might be coming up with something that people hopefully find cool in the next week! Fingers crossed! hehehe
If I can give any advice to anyone new in the platform it is:
The financial gain is just a consequence of all that.
Thanks to everyone I cited and so many others I didn't (it's a long list), YOU make POB awesome.
And thanks again @ralexandria for inviting me here!
Cheers!!
