It's A Wrap

In some indescribable way, my self-confidence got boosted via writing here on Hive everyday and also reading myriads of posts from different people covering different topics, some deeply personal and interesting.

It's like an enlargement of sorts has occurred for me from where I stood at the start of last year compared to the start of this year, the radius of the circle has expanded by virtue of logging in everyday on this ecosystem.

Now, it's just less hesitation when I want to speak my mind or do things that once intimidated me. I guess that's one of the byproducts of a permissionless network, you become more aware that not much is holding you back except yourself.

Even though I do read a good number of posts per day, my comments have been underwhelming especially as of late in my view and it's more like for every twelve posts read, only two or three are commented on.

I don't know, the energy is just not there sometimes, don't know what to contribute to the topic or whether it will be useful/relevant or not. I'll have to be more intentional about it to move the ratio near to 1:3, it's not that deep, isn't it?

In terms of earnings, I'm a bit surprised on the upside. I only had the goal of doing my best to post and make comments everyday and see where everything falls.

I think the price drop of HIVE contributed to doubling my HP from Jan 1 2025 to Jan 1 2026. Some of the HBD was used to diversify outside of the ecosystem and I feel underexposed to LEO after selling some when the price was higher and now want to accumulate back to 4 figures LEO and beyond. I have conviction here.

The least surprising is top interactions/top buddies on the report cards. It's the interactions thar make me look forward to coming back on Hive when I'm off Hive and somehow, these users have evolved into real characters that routinely pop in my head on a random Sunday afternoon walk about something they've wrote that struck with me.
