I was reading through a post by @onealfa.pob where he mention “disengagement of all the people who didn’t stake there POB” and I was shocked.
I was baffled/ challenged and that dragged my attention to know more about Curation and stallings and upvotes.

I love this platform and every community on it, it is the best Avenue to get educated online.you will understand why I’m very grateful after reading through this post. The Proof of Brain, Hive, Ecency, Leo etc just to mention a few are super dope to ask questions and get a factual and reliable response, I’m a witness.

NOW LETS GO INTO TODAYS BUSINESS
First of all let assume you have around 1000POB. A 100% voting strength should give you up to 0.7POB per 100% upvote...every 100% upvote will reduce your voting power by 1.9 % so when you use 100% upvote on eleven posts then that means your voting power would have reduced by 20%.....
Now the truth is that the voting power recharges itself by 20% every 24 hrs....so if you use 20% out of the voting power then it means it will become 100% again automatically after 24hrs...so it means 10upvotes daily will make you to main the 100% voting power consistently....so it’s advisable to upvote 10times in a day.....but if you want to upvote more than 10 times in a day then you need to reduce the voting strength you give when upvoting each post.
For example:
if you upvote 20 post in a day, then I think you should consider reducing the percentage of upvote to 50% each so that it will automatically make you to be able upvote 20times in a day to maintain the 100% voting power after every 24hrs... Don’t forget the voting power recharges itself by 20% every 24 hours.
You will get your curators reward when on the seventh day the post you voted got posted.
I think if you want to make real money on here, you need to become a curator on here. Staking is the real deal.
Hashtags #
If you want to tag, make sure you tag the right communities, just try to navigate through the communities when you’re not busy to understand what the communities stands for. If you write about Covid-19 vaccine, your hashtags should remain around health Covid-19 and it’s likes. The secret is niche!
Avoid using irrelevant tags to avoid down votes on your post.
Write an engaging post, good content is an edge. If you solve problems by providing solutions then you are on the path way to success.

I frankly don't put so much thought in to it. I guess eventually my voting ability tends to zero but I think I should try to use all of it but only on posts that are good enough.

Wow, it’s the same strategy I guess I thought of
I cycle between 100% and 80% about every 12-15 hours. When I get to about 80% I stop and I won't start chain curation until it nears 100.
I spend time curating about two periods of day and it usually spans a couple of hours each time. It doesn't include the time I spend reading Word of the Week contest articles. Of course, it also doesn't include the extra time I spend when I find fraud.
