My first experience vaccinating egg producing birds. (Preventing virus during production).

It’s been a while I was active on the community due to my body system undergoing metabolism.

Anyways;
After my breakthrough from malaria. I was able to experience how they vaccinate Poultry birds(layers) from the three(3) common deadly virus known has;

• Egg drop syndrome(EDS 76).
• Newcastle disease.
• Infectious Bronchitis.

The vaccine they received today popularly known has the 3 in 1 vaccine for layers is to prevent the virus listed above. This vaccine are to prevent the virus from attacking the poultry birds to avoid mortality and lack of egg production.

My dad had to invite a veterinary doctor to inject them who goes by the name Dr. Seun who had six years of experience in treating and health check ups of animals. He showed me how they get injected by the vaccine.
Multivitamin or anti-stress drugs can be given to them to stay active after the activity.

Hi everyone, this is the egg production birds know has the layers like I said in a past post.

This is Dr. Seun, the veterinary doctor who was in charge of the vaccination and I was told told to count the bird which was appropriately 1753 birds.

This picture shows how he injected them by the left lap (the leg). He says that’s the painless place to inject them and would flow through there blood steam easily.

We achieved all this by demarcation of the poultry pen in other to count and separate the vaccinated birds from the non-vaccinated birds.

I hope I was able to share the little knowledge I added to my experience today to everyone on the community.
