I have a question to anyone reading the comments, what languages do you speak/understand well?

I start: I speak and understand well Portuguese, Spanish, and English, I'm building my knowledge in German, but I don't speak or understand well most of the words.

Sort:

I can understand and speak English , Hindi and Urdu. Also I know how to read Arabic but i can't communicate in that language with people.

I also learned a little bit of French when I was in school back in year 2010 , so i don't remember much of that.

Wow three languages fluently that's awesome. How did you get to learn and understand all of this to even consider adding a fourth?

Well, English for me. Also have a native language but wouldn't include it has I'm so poor when it comes to speaking and understanding it. Due to were I grew up, u could learn much of it.

Would love to learn several other languages. French and Spanish seems like a very good. I know in time, I will have to get acquainted with one of this.

It is true we have difference languages as for me I speak French and English very well still pressing on to learn more languages

English, Hindi and Punjabi.. That's it for me. And I feel bad about it :(

English for me, then Spanish.

I took French in high school a long time ago. I still recognize many words, but speaking it is no longer practical for me for lack of use.

From knowing Spanish, I recognize some words in Portuguese and Italian. No speaking of either.

I've been meaning to teach myself Japanese, and I know a few isolatd words; I'm still illiterate in the language.

@magnacarta and i am planning to learn the spanish language,how i wish it is possible to learn from you

If you want someone to teach you Spanish, you should learn from someone who is a native speaker of Spanish or from someonee who can speak it very well. Although I know Spanish, I do not know it well enough to be helpful as a teacher.

I appreciate your interest, but I'm the wrong peson to teach anyone Spanish.

What some people do not understand is that because someone understands a language do not mean they will automatically teach other person the language...

It's like with driving. You may be a good or even great driver, but that doesn't mean you can teach someone how to drive.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Some people are very good at driving but they do not know how to pass the driving lessons to others..you are right

I'm from Nigeria I speak my native language which is Igbo language not nationally recognized yet.and I speak English only though i still wish to learn how to speak french.

Since you know Spanish and Portuguese I will translate the above to Spanish and Portuguese.

Spanish;

Soy de Nigeria, hablo mi lengua materna, que es el idioma igbo, que todavía no está reconocido a nivel nacional y solo hablo inglés, aunque todavía deseo aprender a hablar francés.

Como sabes español y portugués, traduciré lo anterior al español y portugués.

Portuguese;

Sou da Nigéria, falo minha língua nativa, que é igbo ainda não reconhecida nacionalmente. E falo apenas inglês, embora ainda queira aprender a falar francês.

Já que você sabe espanhol e português, eu traduzirei o texto acima para espanhol e português
