I have a question to anyone reading the comments section: Do you believe in a better world? A world with religious freedom (including no religion)? Freedom to love any adult person, as long as it is consensual? Freedom to have an ideology, be it left, center or right? And so on...
This is a million-dollar question!
I am an agnostic person, I want to be a free bird, do what I want, meet people whom I like and when I want. I don't believe in formalities, I wouldn't do stuff to please anyone but myself. I want to live my life on my terms and let others live life on their terms. I don't like interference and can't appreciate others interfering in my life. I am a Hindu but I want to go to a mosque or church because I like those places. I want to have my own political views and the freedom to express them openly and at the same time, I am open to listening to other's views.
But the question here is: CAN I?
In a society we breathe, this is just not possible. You are sorrunded by so many people and if you love them and want them by your side, you have to give up on what you want and accept what they want. It's a choice you have to make. Either live alone with your views, don't give a damn to what other people think and do what you want. But if you want them around you, you have to give up on your freedom.
This is what I truly feel. I actually experienced something similar this morning and hence went so expressive, so funny. You touched my nerves buddy :D
I totally and absolutely agree with you. Sometimes we have to give up our freedom not because we are led by someone else, but because sometimes the same circumstances force you to do so. However, from time to time you have to rebel so that others know that you are a free person of thought and ideas, and actions sometimes.
Nicely said! Sometimes we have to choose us, and not other people.
Definitely. There are times when that is the best decision.
Greetings.
Well, you can choose what you want to do, I think this is the essence of a better world. I hate when people want to take the right to choose, or atack other people choices.
It's ok to express yourself, especially if it is done in a respectful and interesting way as you did!! Thanks for your reply!!
Definitely,we all have our choices to make irrespective of our the community or society beliefs at large, but of all we must also put some certain criteria in into consideration as to be very sure maybe those things are not as a result of obsession it temporary emotions, but of all we have freedom to live the life we live irrespective of people's view
But that's the catch here. Society would judge you. If you are any different from what others are doing, people will see you with an eye.
And in that moment, you need to make a choice. Whether you are ok with those eyes or you want to hide your wills and give up on the choices of society.
Taking a stand for yourself is very important to your happiness and satisfaction but what follows, most of the times, would not satisfy you.
Nice question, Yes I do believe in a better world where there is freedom of religion, freedom to love and freedom of ideology.
What I have to say is believing in this is just a fantasy in the present world 🌍, so many things have transpired in this present world, a lot of believes and moral values have been lost and there is no track left, people being killed because of their religious beliefs.
But what I believe is there are still people, country and nation who still hold this values and do well to keep it.
Thank you.
The real problem starts when people start taking such religious beliefs as baggage. They carry it all the way long but can't always bear the weight themselves and that's when they start making foolish mistakes.
Thanks for saying that, that's where they start making mistake and turning values the wrong way.
It's possible but there are limits. People are human.
I do but but us as humans are unable to reach that at current time. We are too self centered. Hopefully as our species progress that will change and all the things you mention get accomplished.
