Hah, @failingforwards @ecency - I noticed the same thing and am thinking that this is overdoing it with notifications. I missed a couple of comments/upvotes due to it as well. I understand that there are some peeps who might want these extra notifications but we should have a way to turn them off.

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like or rather needs these.
