Shhhhhhh, I'm actually very slow, well, unless I have focused, um, well, inspirations, that's it, that's the safe phrase to use, "focused inspirations", yeah, I like that. I wrote some new prose by the way, not the best in my mind, but I'm trying. It's in the new post. You are inspiring me to try this more.

That's a good idea, thanks, I'll do that. I don't even know what styles I want to explore, so there's that too, LOLOL. My style hits like a blunt object and that makes it lovely? That's the best thing I've heard about it. Kind of gives you a good idea about my personality too, lol. Interesting to get that feedback, gives me a great perspective to look from.
As I go along, writing keeps getting more enjoyable. I can't believe I'm having this much enjoyment playing with a new creative medium. It's been a long time, around ten years, since I last felt that. I find so much value by interacting with people on Hive, that I am encouraged to step out further and further with writing.

The exploration of writing is the same about any other art. You start doing something and get into the things you like. If you don't know what to do with your reading, go ahead at look for references in the genres you like and start reading stuff. You won't like a lot of it. But something will stick with you. It's like feeling the pull of it. And you'll be on the right track you choose in no moment. Your writing already has the essence. Form is, well, something to develop over time. And only a matter of choice in most cases.

Thanks. I've been hung up on words all my life, so I'm breaking down those barriers for the first time ever. It's not that I can't write, it's the type of writing I've done all my life. This is a radical departure for me. I've always looked at so many other people's writing, even the way they express with words in conversation and felt I could never come close to that, not my medium, my brain doesn't work that way, it's hard wired visual and music, minus out those words.
After several months of being on Hive, receiving feedback from others, support from others, encouragement from others, I'm just starting to get a glimpse into my writing and I can see there is a spark there, total shock to me, but I see it. It's exciting, fun but also it scares me a bit at the same time.

Hey, getting onto something like writing is an act of faith. It exposes you too much to be enjoyed fully. In the case of what you are writing. So I understand the fear of doing it. But it seems it's met with a pretty good response from everyone.
