Is it worth losing a life to exterminate a hive of bees?

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

I will tell you the story of a friend who belongs to the municipal fire department, who was doing his service as a rescue firefighter and he tells me about his experience and I wanted to share it with you and I saw his expression on his face the helplessness in the situation in the who was, all his colleagues and I express all this what I am going to tell you where I start with this question. Is it worth losing a life to exterminate a hive of bees? Of course not...

In addition, Bees are protected internationally, due to their danger of extinction and the importance of pollinating food crops. For many years they fought to eliminate from the rendering of the Service those famous KEY RESCUES, in which the lives of the Firefighters were risked unnecessarily, several of our colleagues died performing these "Key Rescue" (External Descents by Buildings ) that had nothing to do with any imminent danger. Secondary services require attending the place to carry out an Evaluation and thus determine the present risks and difficulties in performing the service, from which it must be determined: Material to be used, tools or lifting equipment. Yes, once the analysis has been carried out, it is determined that, the conditions to carry out the work are NOT given, the request must be canceled and thus reported to the internal mechanisms of the Institution, leaving a permanent record that supports new requests for the same cause in the same place. For the provision of the different types of service The first thing that every Firefighter must have in mind is Safety, nowadays it must be a Myth, that nefarious Motto that says: "Firefighters give our Lives in Exchange for Nothing". No, no, no, no, we Firefighters must emerge

unscathed from the services we provide and only something unexpected, such as a sudden and violent event, could be the cause of loss of life. Today, unfortunately, we mourn the loss of a new life, due to a tragic accident while doing work at height. The call is to all the Commanders of the Fire Brigades to prohibit this type of services, such as Extermination of Bees in height, Cutting of Trees in height, Water Supplies in height, are risks that are often assumed, without inspection tests or inspections, thus endangering the lives of our colleagues.

Many Firefighters have been injured, injured or killed in the Tree Felling. From the Bee Exterminations, many Firefighters have been injured, poisoned and killed, and from the Water Supplies many Firefighters have also been injured, injured or killed, most of them from falling from considerable heights. Do you want Firefighters to provide this type of service? Then make the respective
endowments of Lifting Units, Equipment and Tools, in such a way that the Risk of Falling from Height is reduced to 99.9%. Today there is a National Law on Firefighters and Firefighters, but in contrast to that Law, today after the Law, we are in worse conditions than before.
The incorrect use of our units, in the Fire Brigades where Ladder Cars existed, these were used for felling trees and for those famous special services called Halyard Placement on Flagpoles. Such valuable and expensive units, being
underutilized, suffering unnecessary wear and tear to simply place a halyard. Thus, little by little those cars were wearing out and deteriorating over time. Today, we don't have those carts to use on fires.

Unconsciously and with pressure many times by their boss they are led to carry out these procedures where you risk their lives just to fulfill a task that often ends with a sad ending where they leave their family without sustenance.

This should be looked into to prevent further loss of life.
This is really heartbreaking as I feel for the families of those who lost their lives carrying out their task.

Why can't something be done fast about it?
Is it when all the firefighters lose their lives?
Firefighting is a nice job though but I really wouldn't sign for it with this kind of condition.
