Facebook Has Never Been Scared! - The Neanderthal is Desperate

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

I had five of my Facebook Account locked out, Don't ask me why I had five Facebook accounts, but to keep the story short, in its infancy Facebook was a gold mine of internet traffic.

At the time if you had a website, or you were simply looking for prospects, Facebook was a place to go, you could message your group members, your posts would be shared with all of your friends. But soon enough they became arrogant, Facebook became too big, they started to become pick and greedy.

But to fast forward, these past two years, with people being banned and massive Facebook groups disabled, I believe Facebook ad sales had declined, they don't make as much money as they used to. I believe it has fewer users because the people who speak their truths are the kind of people who keeps the world go around, they are the kind of people you would want to argue with them for the sake of arguing, so when you bad them and kick them out of your platform, the platform becomes stagnant, it stales, because all who are left they are the shy ones, they don't push the envelope of the human psyche.

Remember I told you I had my five Facebook accounts banned? and this was before the riots before the cancel culture, this was the time Facebook was at its peak, they banned me because I was posting a lot, I was so active, and well requesting a lot of friends, so then they needed ID's they needed Government Id for verification. I simply walked away, Ooh I had one of my Facebook groups banned, I couldn't figure out what was the reason. I had two accounts with 50k friends, on which were all banned.

Today, my guts were telling me to try to log onto those accounts, for my surprise, they let me in, with the introduction of a new Facebook UI and all. So I wondered, why would they locked me out for 4 years and counting to let me in now so easily?

Then I got two assumptions:

  1. They had a change of heart and decide to just be good people
  2. They lost a lot of users, and sales, so they decided to allow the locked out accounts in.

Tell me what you think.

Sort:

I think I'll go with the last assumption 🤣 it's so funny but that might be true. They've seen that they lost a lot of users and decided to bring back those who were very active back then

But how could they have remembered that you were very active back then? Just wondering

Or maybe you didn't check back in a few days time..... Like seriously, 4 years later? That's a really long time to check back.

Maybe they had let you in long before now, who knows?

Well, the good thing is, you got your account back but then do you still need those four accounts like you needed them back then? 🙄

Seem like I asked more questions than I even gave my own thoughts 🤣

Well, I don't think they manually look on each banned account, but they must have some sort of code that checks on the reason they banned you, I remember there was a time they started banning Native Americans because their names were not according to their rules. that was the rudest thing ever, and the reason for having multiple accounts is because it limited people to only have a maximum of 5000 friends so a person is forced to create another account if their account is maxed out. And I still need those accounts to migrate my posts and other things that I worked on for years.

Oh great! Glad to know that you still need them. I didn't ever think there was a limit to friends on Facebook l, maybe because I never got even up to half of the limit 😂

You know if someone is a regular google user, it's very hard to find about different Blockchain projects, I realized google filters a lot of information

Facebook is not as serious for me as it used to me. I have been an addicted Facebook user but with time, I found that there is nothing too enterprising about the platform.
Another issue had been that scammers are heavily on Facebook parading themselves as genuine users, only to swindle unsuspecting Facebook users.

Concerning the issue of blocking or revocation of a Facebook account, if you post images that are not screened for display purposes frequently, you may be blocked

Interesting! I'll have to see if my old account is unlocked, thanks!!!

Yeah before they used to ask for verification and all other restrictions, but now as long as you remember the password and have access to your email they just send you the code you verify then you are in.

That's an improvement.... I have an account with some contacts I would like to message!

Face book is afraid because countries and government who they bullied are taking them on.
They thought that being the world tech leaders they could do what they want.
Banning Trump was their moment of triumph but the world is not willing to let them keep the reigns. Counties like Australia and India are taking them to task and they are swallowing their words.
The time is coming when Tech giants will feel public pressure.. the same public who made them what they are today.

That's why there are blockchain projects, but to be honest I still feel the blockchain project has not taken off yet as much. because people need to make real money to move permanently on these web 3.0

I agree, blockchains need to get a little more people friendly and maybe as you say a little more earner friendly as well.

With the economy and the pandemic all together a lot of people want to start earning money online and work remotely, I think Hive is on the right direction, with little improvements it could be something solid where people could turn into.

Yip with staff cuts and downsizing of staff happening all around people need a way of sustenance.
If Hive could be that thing that would be the most amazing thing of this decade or possible this century

Maybe they did it by mistake or you forgot to do something that was necessary then. Now that FB is losing its popularity at a brisk rate, they decided to unlock your accounts.

I did the same things, I did now, however, the exposure is not as it used to be, even when I post something with 5000 friends, only a handful of them can see my post. Overall time is the big factor to reveal what is going on.

On the contrary I believe you would have broken a rule that's why you got a ban. Usually posting a lot can be termed as spamming and if that was what you were doing, it could be a reason. Facebook is still one of the largest social media we have with a large influx of users. Although the age bracket using it now isn't same as the age bracket using it few years ago as the younger generation now prefers Instagram and Twitter to Facebook but then a lot of groups are earning a lot of money from Facebook.
