The airdrop of sps for sure! Man, it's gone real crazy and yesterday I dove into the new rental system and it's really something, gonna hit Gold 1 soon for the first time and hope to reach diamond before season end.
Still figuring out my strategy for the higher leagues though which is very different with all the new skills but exciting and fun at the same time
Its presale value was $0.018 but it currenlty is selling at $0.70. To get the airdrop one needs to hold Splinterlands assets so everything Splinterlands has increased in value.
Thank you for the simple explanation was helpful. It's funny how things like this happen. I had plenty of warning but couldn't imagine such growth so quick.
We seem to be many around here who don't have an idea of how this games work. The more post I stumble on about it, the more confused I get. I guess I will have to give a special day for it
some many times have been trying to know more about this but still don't get it, despite so many YouTube downloaded video yet to know what is still all about
Honestly i wish to know more about this splinterlands. I know it about game i have been to the site once. I don't know how and what to do. Wish to be educated on this as well
Splinterlands is free to play but if you want to earn rewards that have monetary value you need to first pay the $10 game fee. You can still collect and trade without paying but you won't be able to earn anything. To battle you will need summoners. Summoners are needed to pick cards to battle vs. other players. Each summoner will allow you to pick from a specific set of cards in which you can use for battle.
Once you are ready to battle you will pick the order of your team and hit the battle button. Nothing else is needed after this as the game plays out on its own. If you win you will be awarded the in game currency called DEC. There's daily challenges that will award you prizes and tournaments played daily that you can win prizes in as well. There's an in game market in which you can sell your cards to other players.
Its difficult to put an exact number on what I have earned. There's too many aspects and working parts. For example there's the SPT token earned for blogging about Splinterlands when using the SPT tag. There's the DEC token that can be earned for winning ranked battles and placing in tournaments. There's the growth of card prices. I suspect we see another wave of growth once land is implemented to the game. An example of ROI: A Plot of land in Splinterlands originally sold for $10 USD. Today some have sold for $200-$250 USD.
I believe they have a coming airdrop or something. I Will really love to know much about this. Splinterlands seem to be buzzing a lot of late. People who know much about this here should help open our eyes to this things as many here seem to be unfamiliar with how this games works
If you've played similar games before you will get the hang of it in no time, if not take your time learning about the game and experimenting with the cards etc
i think @rentmoney it's the exactly person who can help to answer this
So I think it won't be a bad idea if he is willing to help us all too,I think a tutor from him won't be a bad idea in the group here.
Like me, am really interested in knowing much about it
Ask away and I will do my best to answer or point you in the direction you can find the answer.

I don't think anyone imaged this type of growth so quickly.
Land hasn't been implemented yet and I suspect another influx of growth when it is.
Thanks. I will keep my eyes open.
I will spend my weekend exploring Splinterlands. Feels uneducated now not knowing it :| So many posts around it these days.

Ooo you seem to be the ruler here! So how much have you been able to earn as of now?

Thanks for summarizing this. It seems like quite an easy one to learn if one pays close attention to. You seem to have mastered this game to an extent

My tip:

If you've played similar games before you will get the hang of it in no time, if not take your time learning about the game and experimenting with the cards etc
