RE: POB Word of the Week : Outrageous #009

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

You all worked hard including all participants and those involved with grading and curating. I'm glad to see that scholaris, penderis and fireguardian may help out in the grading also. It's too hard for one person this work and I hope that @penderis can join you. His warped sense of reality will really help out when considering perspective.

The spreadsheet is helpful and gives a realistic expectation of what to look for when grading. It also helps the writer what to keep in mind. I better read it before I start next time. What also helps is to read a few of the winning posts from last week to have a feel for the format expected.

Congratulations to @nonsowrites.^^
He writes in a very clear and simple fashion. In a few words he included the main point at question the ego and even included an exact example from his life. He used pictures that were created with Bitmoji but they were personalized and pertinent. Each picture helped with the flow of the reading like picture subtitles. Awesome. It also proves that a post can be relatively short but still have kick.

The #POB-WOTW tag is curated heavily. I like it because we can discuss with others about the WOTW but I think curators need to be careful not to just upvote every post in WOTW, especially if the post has nothing to do with the contest.

Again, thanks again for your hard work @calumam. I'm really glad to see you distribute the work with some decent people.

Peace

@mineopoly

Ahh, another poor soul who has graced @penderis' presence... lol, he's a good pal (I'd say) and has shared his point of view with me for many decisions/ideas I've made over the years. It's always nice to have a bit of yin and yang going on.

I agree. I've been a bit more reserved in my voting of WOTW posts lately because there are so many and also because I want to focus on spreading the votes out across the whole platform, not just within the WOTW community (it would be so easy to spend my votes on WOTW solely, there are so many good posts).

I'm really glad to see you distribute the work with some decent people.

That's it. People I trust and somewhat understand. I have no worries about raising criticisms or starting discussion with these guys.
