Staking coins was fun but now by default I am a curator. Every two hours or so my voting mana is recharged and ready to go, but I am not. I plan to swoop in and leave my vote, but the temptation to read the entire post is too strong.
I want to make sure I am not voting for crap and I am drawn in by a story or an idea or a title. Why can't I just swoop in and upvote and leave? I am attached. The community is an organism not an organization. I am concerned about friends I made and I am challenged to think about points of view that I never thought of before.
Mostly I am drawn to comment and give my two cents and say, "Hey I was here. How are you?" There is a desire inside that wants to tell the world that I am alive and I am listening and I have a brain. So I can't leave the post without making a comment.
This week I am busy at work and busy preparing for the Korean holiday, Chuseok. I wanted to sit back and just curate posts for a day. The result is that I was swept away reading articles from our community.
Here are some I visited today:
@samsmith1971 - She got all the Ws in the title. Definitely a Winner.
Wednesday Walk in Water Colour
@offgridlife - The Macfarlane's House
This house on the water was a beauty. I can see Family Guy doing a little dance in there. Check out the full post here

Oh the temptation to say something sarcastic about this post is so strong.
@sugandhaseth She didn't know what to write
I don't know what to writeloving her kid. She sure wrote a lot that day for having nothing to write about. is the name of her post. I always think it is better to write about nothing but then as soon as I start writing about nothing a flow of inspiration comes. It turns out that @sugandhaseth is building up a treasure of early parenting skills and experiences. Here she writes about
I don't know if this kid in the picture is her boy or not, but I imagine her boy is not so much different from this boy. Maybe she is one of the most blessed people in the world.
Other News
Friendly Moose had a photo contest. It's kind of like word of the week but with pictures. This weeks word was "water".
The beer bot is working but it takes a day to get beer. I guess the bot is a little drunk or there is some prohibition going on. We have to wait for bootleggers.
I bought some wine and staked it in the wine cooler. I will give the wine to an interesting comment I find on this post today.
Sincerely, the pictures used for those posts you enlisted is the reason I want to go read them
The photos are amazing ..... They got my attention 😊
It's addicting.... This place. I usually want to live a vote behind too, but, something pushes me to read till the end and then leave a comment
It's nice to see someone who feels the Same way
hahaha and you are the !WINE winner today @edystringz
Oh really? Thank you very much
I'll try to enjoy the wine🍷...I appreciate it 😊🙂
I am a fan of beer though... I don't know why it's not working 🥺
It's just slow. If I call a beer it will come in like 12 hours I guess. I think those comments use a lot of RC.

It was crowded in there. The house started to rock back and forth on the water. We need more weight.
I was just wondering what all those gas cans were doing stacked up outside. I didn't know he was a pyromaniac.

Wow, I must confess that I am impressed by the way you think. You think with logic and purpose, The fact that you don't just want to upvote for the title or for the sake of upvoting is very classy. keep it up and I believe upvoting posts after reading the posts should be more fun and eventful.
By the way, Excellent and beautiful pictures. The Macfarlane's House really got me laughing so hard.😀😂
We kept the conversation going for quite a while on the Macfarlane House. @offgridlife has a great online personality.
Hahaha, Wow, That's outrageous.
How did the conversation end at last or is the conversation still ongoing?😆

Wow, That's exhilarating. I bet the vibes was first class.🔥🔥
Let me take a bit time to say congratulations on your curatorship @mineopoly. Am a believer of your ingenuity and sincerity congrats one more. I did like to say that your job have increased exponentially and you did be tempted to read lots of posts per day especially the mouth watering topics above. The one that got me the most is not knowing what to write, the author was speaking to me @sugandhaseth. I did appreciate happiness is power too. All the post are fantastic i must say. The motivation to post is endearing. I did do my first post soonest just that i don't know what to write about. Congrats again @mineopoly
I will check your post too @dprudent,
You always seem to have something nice to say😀

Awesome initiative!
Hi @allcapsonezero,
You also are in the curator predicament. I just thought it would be fun to stack and now we are being drawn to use this power.
It's very natural to get pulled in and become part of the community. A lot of people on Hive and in POB have a heart and can't just walk away after reading. Every once and a while I will leave my thoughts as a curator on a post.
It is a big commitment, but to grow this thing from the ground up will take more than good tokenomics.
You are right @allcapsonezero,
Good tokenomics will definitely help, but it is the people here that will make the blockchain work. When I interact I try to see through differences and see them for what they can become.

It cause I the dilemma that some curators out it on auto curate right?
Yes. Auto Curate works to some extent, but curiosity gets the best of me and I end up going back to trace my steps to where the auto vote had voted. That's the dilemma. I think the dilemma has been solved by Blind Brain. Check the recent post I reblogged @blind.submit. This will really level up the curation game.
Let me check.
Please do^^

This is a great way to highlight what's going on @mineopoly. I find myself lost wandering around on here and now I have some interesting articles to read. Thanks
How could you be lost @buffalobison,
I'm so happy to see you here.
Every once and a while I will do something like this and next time I will be sure to include your post as well. !LUV
Thank you for the welcome. I see so many postings I often don't know where to begin. I'll be sure to dream up something interesting to post for sure.
