“People are like stained - glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
Glass || Vidrio
Glass is a material obtained by melting limestone, silica sand and sodium carbonate and then molding this mixture at a high temperature. It is very hard but at the same time very brittle.
The glass sheets are usually used for the manufacture of windows, doors, bottles and other products, among which are the stained glass, an artistic composition made with painted glass or coated with enamel, which are assembled by lead rods, which reached its peak in Gothic architecture and then generalized from the thirteenth century.
These stained glass windows are found adorning the walls of the Saint Rose of Lima Church, also known as the Sanctuary of the Divine Shepherdess, located in the neighboring town of Santa Rosa, southeast of the city of Barquisimeto, in central western Venezuela.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.

Lovely colors! Stained steel glass windows in churches are often very nice.
Nice that you have posted a couple of different ones.
Photographically the series isn't very exciting though. But it fits the subject of the #POBPhotocontest perfectly.
Those are some beautiful pictures friend thanks for sharing ☺️
