I am going to be making these posts a regular feature! clean up your streets and receive a strong upvote, thats the message! last week saw only one participant, lets see if we can beat that!
I have a reasonable upvote, my full upvote rewards over 15 pob,. And I would like to use some of my upvote power to reward those who go out into their community and help clean up - not only will you improve your local area but as well know help the overall environment.
Plastic is the main problem, its bad stuff that stays in the ground for years, pollutes our oceans and takes so many years to break down.
So I challenge you, go out and see what you can clean up - the contents of your garbage bin dont count! Bonus points for dirty garbage that have clearly been outside in the elements for time.
Put your username on a bit of paper next to your haul of garbage and post a photo in the comments.

Go pick up some trash in your neighborhood, (bonus points for dirty old trash, stuff from your own trash can does not count!) post a photo of it with your username on a bit of paper in the same shot and get an upvote!
Cant you just cheat it by spreading trash outside?
you could, but generally trash has been there for a while - it very quickly gets covered in dust and dirt, or sun faded - So i can tell pretty much.

Rather depopulated. Approximately only 200 people lives here, and there are many abandoned buildings in this village. Some of them partially (or even completely) collapsed.
Wow sounds like you are out in the sticks, how is your internet connection?
I use mobile internet. It often switches between Edge, 3G and 4G. Mostly it is on 3G. Sometimes there is no signal at all, which means that there is no service. I know nearby settlements, where you cannot even make a phone call indoor. Sometimes not even outdoor.

Lo adecuado sería animar a la comunidad a participar en la limpieza, poner en algunos lugares pipotes de basura. De momento puede que algunos marginen tu idea pero si limpias un área, la mantienes limpia, algunos harán lo que comenzaste. Puedes remover un poco las piedras y tapar los huecos en los caminos de tierras y para que se vea un poco mas bonito el area, con piedras adornas el camino.

This is a pretty good initiative. I am curious as to whether or not @leofinance and @proofofbrainio will eventually contribute to an environmental cause. I currently have bought (very little because I am unsure of success at this point) Aquari which spends 3% of transaction fee's on cleaning up polluted bodies of water. I challenge @leofinance and @proofofbrainio to be doing an environmental initiative by the year end. It's great we are all scheming to be rich and free with crypto, but little good that will do us if there is no earth. If anyone is curious as to my own standing on environmentalism (which is quite a bit) I will be writing a post sometime this week. This isn't a new cause of mine, I have always been pro-active and the facts as they stand right now are horrifying, but we don't do anything fantastic that will make the most impact RIGHT NOW as a species because we are wired for imminent threats that we see. It's like the frog in the boiling pot of water. I am so happy to see this @madstacks. Although crypto can save energy being online, meaning a lesser carbon footprint, I feel that we can do better. It is not good enough to have no proof of work miners. So hopefully @leofinance and @proofofbrainio really step up with this!!!
