The tragedy of the Chinese to modify a title of a famous essay, is that if we don't do it, the Chinese still will. We lose ground, China gains, and in the end the ones not taking full advantage where we can lose out in terms of industry and productivity. The Chinese do not respect patents and profit from it. The Chinese do not respect carbon taxes but many western countries do. Not that carbon taxes do anything to help the environment. It's just that its another handicap imposed by the politicians except for China.
