February 2022 I finally got the chance to start researching and learning about cryptocurrencies and trying to understand blockchains and development around it. Some before that, the market and its conflicting relationship with mainstream news, rumors and trends in social networks, and in fact the culture of deception and propaganda, had been attractive to me. Often in the midst of browsing so-called independent sources and websites, topics such as Decentralization, Financial Freedom, Web 3.0, ... had caught my attention. which of course, none of them included the original concepts concretely nor provide practical solutions or real and present examples.
At a time when airdrops and scams were hot and YouTube influencers filled the space with deception and spams as Crypto Education to hunt more viewers, it was impossible to learn deeper meanings.
Finally, in March 2022, completely by chance and at the same time, I came across two articles about both Hive and Leofinance. The first one was at somewhere called Loop Finance if I remember the name correctly and the other was on BitChute about "Blockchain Social & Crypto Earnings" by @scottcbusiness . After googling around and searching for the tutorial on YouTube, I soon realized that it is invisible and kinda kept hidden from the public eye, with a possibility of Shadow Banning by the big-tech. This attracted me even more.
It was then that the enlightening articles of LeoFinance community clarified my distracted vision in many aspects and levels.
It was in the first days of May 2022 when I converted my digital investments (which's not much) from $LUNA and $UST to $HIVE then split it to HBD, HP and xPolycub which I swapped (the 3rd one) and bridged it back to the base layer a week later, while its value had been increased by 75%, then transferred as HBD to my love @sabajfa, free and fee-less. And this was just a few days before Terra Luna disaster.
Honestly, I don't want to tell you the adventures and good memories of my presence in Hive. At least not this time. I just wanted to mention that since then I have been following Leo with great interest and have been kept abreast of its wonderful and ever-increasing developments, and the same goes for the rest of the Hive ecosystem.
The truth is that I have recently participated in Zealy's October marketing campaign and one of the steps or tasks is to write a long form post about it. 🫣
This campaign, which aims to easily bring and introduce new users to Hive, with a prize pool of 5000 HBD for top participants, is made up of attractive and simple steps.
To participate, we need to have Discord and Twitter accounts, and the rest (at least so far) doesn't really need any guidance here. 😅 Just log in through my invitation link or any of the participants and do the quests or missions one by one with the help of the instructions in it to climb the leaderboard.
The steps so far, include following twitter accounts related to different parts of Hive DApps and DAOs as well as engagement in Inleo's social activities, which has actually become one of the best front-ends of Hive with plenty of features motivation and incentives.
and needs no explanation. 🫠
My main motivation for joining the Zealy campaign was to force myself to participate more in Inleo with the intention of increasing my socializing and communication with other Hivers and Leo frens ... having more fun with our swarm together (which recently starting to grow in Leo with a decent pace), the only part that I have paid less attention to so far.
This of course is even more attractive and doable despite the possibility of microblogging provided by Thread.
In the end, It is all about community. This is the most powerful human capital and now has the opportunity to be growing in its decentralized way, stable and eternal, thanks to The(promissed) Everything App - the ultimate social media experience - being built and developing on immutable database of Hive blockchain. Correct me if it's not the most true example of Web 3.0!
I think we are on the way to owning the Internet, from the straightest and shortest path. And it is just the first steps ...
And this was my first post 😊 on Leo's community, Now that my spell has been broken thanks to the campaign, I guess I'll write more about my Hive journey, what I've learned here as well as my discoveries, intuitions and experiences during this time. I'm not a blogger, but Hive's getting more lovable.
Thanks for your time
