I really don't like ads. But, I know it's necessary and I would do the same.
But, I think adjusting where they appear is the main thing. Because the way it has appeared and the types of ads, will amaze a lot of people. Because now POB has the face of those sites of "advertisements" that where you click opens a pop-up and often with viruses. I'm not saying it's like that here. But the aesthetics got really ugly and if I didn't know the HIVE/POB in question, I wouldn't enter a site like that anymore for the first impression of these ads.
With the Front end of Ecency we will have a lot to gain and setting up a suitable space for the ads will be the best.
When it comes to BTC earnings create a fund for that. And use it to pay developers for projects that create something interesting for the community.
