Liebe Leser, kennt Ihr die traurige Geschichte des "Manns des Lochs" (Man of the Hole, índio do buraco (port. ))?

The Majestic Curtain Falls | Baganga, Davao Oriental
Curated By: @lhes

Posted In: Worldmappin
After visiting two islands, namely: and , we rushed further south of Davao Oriental (or some 23 kilometers away from Poo Sandbar to be exact) to reach this secluded destination. I'm always up for adventure of any kind so when my eyes laid on this makeshift bridge connecting two side of Baganga, thrill ran through my spine. I was supposed to ride on the motorcycle to cross this bridge, but I insisted on walking across; it was both exciting and scary. If you look closely on the water, it was gushing roughly and nonstop. The water level might not be too deep but if by chance I fell, the strength of the water was enough to drift me away. I still enjoyed the experience tho; it's like a preview of the watery adventure that afternooon ...

Traveling to Medellin with my Girls [Eng-Esp]
Curated By: @tahastories1

Posted In: Throwback Thursday
The first week of August 2024 I had the privilege of being in Medellin, Colombia, because my wife and her friends were finalists for a singing contest to be held in that city. Nobody invited me, I only heard that they were going on a trip and I prepared my suitcase, besides I had to go personally to hug a great friend I have over there. It was not many days, but as always I made the most of every second, and besides hugging my friend and meeting his parents, one of the best moments was our visit to Pueblito Paisa.

Curated By: @tahastories1

Posted In: Worldmappin
Last Saturday when we visited the very interesting Sanctuary of Saint Mary Magdalene, we also looked around the remains of a fortress located on the same hill. It was a nice, sunny day so we enjoyed the pleasant temperature, the air, the views and spent some time there around the church. There was also a cosy restaurant; I asked my boys if they wanted a cup of coffee or a glass of juice, but they were fine with walking around and not sitting in one place. Also, they suspected it would be a more pricy place because of the tourists frequenting the sanctuary. Although there were signs indicating where we could arrive by taking one of these paths, we stayed just there in La Mola. My son and I discovered that the entrance to the fortress was next to the restaurant (it wasn't hard to find out, except that we weren't prepared, we didn't even know that it was a fortress and sanctuary complex) ...

Hello everyone 👋 Today I’ll be sharing with you guys about my trip to hunza. Hunza is a beautiful velly of Pakistan and is mostly famous of the beautiful Passu cones and Attabad lake. Since it’s officially winter season in Pakistan its the time of Snowfall in the Northern Pakistan. Ladt year we couldn’t plan to go somewhere and enjoy the snowfall so we did this year, because we just couldn’t miss the snowfall season again. In January the temperature in northern areas is just below threshold so we decided to go in December which was the right time to witness snowfall at the bearable temperature. We rented out the van so that we could travel together and have our luggages with us since we had plan to stay ofcourse ...
