Hello @blezyn i like this your proverb stuff,
There is a proverb in my local language that say.
"I senior him/her will only make you go hungry"
Meaning : undervaluing someone just because of age difference between you and the person will only make you not benefiting from him or her. Just because you senior someone by age dose not means you can not seek the person assistance provided he or she is in a position to help.
Yes it has a lot of meaning
Don't just ignore anyone. Just because you are better or older than that person.
Your help might be in the hand of the person you are belittling
Hahaha, quite funny, I have never heard this one before but there is so much truth in it. Sometimes it is ego that makes the older not want to seek help from the younger but we always have to remember God can decide to bless us via any channel, we shouldn't miss that blessing for petty reasons.
😊😊 they will be like kids of yesterday .
this proverb is not only speaking about age difference but also speaking about levels and ranking, some people believe if they are higher than you in any level or in rank in any area they believe they can't learn from you
It is true some people think they are above learning especially when it's coming from someone with a lower rank. At the end of the day they are the one missing out on good stuff
exactly you understand what I'm saying even if you're a boss in a working place you can learn from your apprentice, or you are a leader in a place you can learn from people coming behind you
Indeed! There's a saying that the wisest men are those who never stop learning!
yes the wisest one accumulate knowledge and won't stop learning but only the foolish believed they have arrived
This means don't underrate anyone because of age or status or position.
Because the person might have what you don't have or what you need
