The Wahala We Need

Look around you and see a lot that humanity has achieved. Life has been made easy in so many ways. Technology is doing wonders just to make life more comfortable and convenient for each and everyone of us.

Have you ever wondered what life would be like in the absence of all we have around now? The internet, social media, phones, computers, just to name a few.

All these we have around were all achieved by overcoming one or two challenges (wahala) in one way or the other. There are people that took the tough paths, they went the extra mile, they never gave up on the way, they felt uncomfortable with the state of things, they never took no as an answer, in front of each wahala.

And as a result, all we have today came to be. In essence, all the wahala we face today is literally a means of achieving something great — that's if we don't give up. It serves as a driving force towards achieving that goal. Complex situations always birth extraordinary breakthroughs. In the midst of the wahala(s) around us, we need to see the greatness in front of us.

This I believe is our nature. If living is made easy, then there's nothing to live for. When the game becomes easy, it becomes a child's play.

We all have encountered more than one wahala in life so far, of which we came out successful. I can categorically state that we would have been a step backward if we weren't successful in such a state. This simply illustrates wahala as the thriving force for success. We need it, it's part of life, we are made to have and overcome it, without it, life would have not been worthy of living.

Not all wahala we face is a blessing in disguise! Some are man made and nothing good often comes out of it. Such wahala are often created due to many things. The quest for power and control, the religious enmity, the colour difference, racial difference, and a lot more. All these have made life uncomfortable for everyone.

As regards to this, we all don't need it. We need to let love lead. Love among all, no matter the religion or race, no matter the colour or gender, we can all coexist.

Thanks for coming around to my blog. Stay blessed @St.Filipz.
