RE: Why I’m Going To m to Start Self Voting (for a little bit)

Nothing wrong with self voting if you ask me, as long as it isn't abused.

Not much at all. Hardly worth talking about. Growing an account takes time, consistency, and hard work.

This is it. You have to stay consistent with your activity and content, growth is a natural result of that

I agree.

I still feel strange self voting, and it’l it’s really just for posts that I think need a boost- and the newer account.

I must really do want to try to get my accounts developing a revenue where I can use it for personal expenses while still being a strong supporter of others on Hive.

I’ve been holding off on converting to spendable income because I truly do believe in Hive and want to find a balance between living off it (to some extent) while still being a viable person community member.

Thank you for your kind words. 🌹

I reckon things will fall in place with a little time. There are some accounts that started the same time I joined back then with steem, they are large Orca's now because of their crazy consistency. It will be difficult but the rewards will come

Really?

I remember when you joined back then, because Eddie is your Hive friend and he was also a very motivating person to me. I believe you joined mere months after I did.
I’m not sure if you recall that.

But you are one of the early “faces” to me here.

If you saw minnows become orcas, that could have been us. Sad face. 😞

Granted, my quality was more garbage than good. I’ve looked back at my posts and think, “wth is THAT, Ana?” Lol

It took me a lot of deliberate research to figure out what the audience on hive likes. I guess that’s the transition from social media to Hive.

Still, I wouldn’t mind being an Orca.

Oh thank you! I have been wanting to convert hive to fiat just to know that I know that I’m able to do it when I might actually need to.

I also wanted to prove to skeptics that it’s possible.

When trying to invite friends here, I get two responses: “I have enough accounts” and “isn’t that a pyramid scheme?”

After watching Start Up (series) I was able to see why Hive looks like a scheme. And I’m some ways, it does seem to operate that way. That said, there’s many mechanics here that definitively render the scheme argument to be a misunderstanding.

When I finally came back to Hive, I had $350 + $250 usd value in actifit, and then Steem and Hive on top of that. That was WITHOUT a cent of investment.

I could have pulled those funds out (but I’ve been converting to apprentice tokens and staking everything). If I invested nothing (other than time and equipment) than this isn’t a scheme!

I would like to prove that to the skeptics.

(I wish I wasn’t so long winded sometimes! Sorry)
