Alayi's mother wanted to go to the town.
"Now be sure you stay right here, in the house", she said. "Play here, and don't leave the house while I am gone.
Alayi's readily agreed, but he didn't really intend to keep his promise.

No sooner had his mother left the house then Alayi's began to look for something exciting to do. He found a coin which is mother had left on the table.
"Now i'll be able to have some fun," he ran in the opposite direction to the way is mother had gone. It wasn't long before he had spent his mother coin, and he hurried on to see what else he couldn't do.
By this time he realized that if he didn't get home quickly, his mother might get there first.
So Alayi's hurriedly went down a narrow street to find a shortcut home.
Suddenly a small dog ran out of a house, and bit him on the leg!
Alayi's cried out in pain and now he couldn't hurry as fast as before
" I do hope mother isn't home yet" he thought to himself.
"And I do hope she won't see this bite. "
Here at last was home and the house was still empty.

Alayi's got out some of his things and began to play on the floor as calmly as if he had been there all the time.
About half an hour later his mother came in.
"Well, has my Alayi's been a good boy all this time?
I'm sorry I've been so long
"Yes", said Alayi's undecided lying.
A few minutes later, mother was looking on the table where she kept her coin.
"Alayi, I thought I left a coin here before I went out. Have you seen it?"
"Yes; I mean no!" Stammered Alayi
"What do you mean? " demanded his mother, "come on now, tell me
Have you taken the coin? "
"I spent it", cried Alayi
"Where?", demanded mother.
"In the town", sibbed the boy, "And look here a dog bit me! " mother look one look at the stollen leg and off they went to the hospital. And as he lay in bed for the next few days Alayi had a lot of time to think and regret of disobeying his mother.
Mother didn't punish him for his disobedience or for stealing the coin.
She felt that Alayi was having
Punishment enough, and he certainly was
Whenever he was upward tempted to steal or disobey, he would always remember the swollen, pain leg he had while he was in hospital because he didn't do as his mother told him.
Thanks for reading my story.

The story is wonderful, lovely and educative, disobedience Don't lead to regret alone but it also kill.
Many disobey their parents and they end up their in prison, some disobedience lead to their death.
Disobedience make someone to become useless, hopeless.
Thanks for your contribution

Wow,what a very good write up and nice story,I really wished I can say more about this, but the little I will say also, should do mate, even though I might slightly go out of the content, but I still wished am not
Alayi as really proven that he is not obiedent which is very clear and if not for his disobedience,he won't have been a victim of the dog bite he encounter in his way coming back after he as picked the coin which is not meant for him.
One of my greatest words that I grow up with says;
Which mean whether you are obiedent or not ,we will know when will have no one to actually monitor your steps or caution you and it shows clearly that Alayi was very disobedient cause immediately his mother steps out he thought of what to do for fun and it even lead him spending the coin that is not meant for him.
Very well,he reap it also, and it was nice that it was said of him that he take note of that and he never repeat such action again and that is why at time it is good for many to make mistakes today ,so that they can know what it takes to be obiedent, especially when that have someone helping their life
